(Minghui.org) On July 14, 2013, Ms. Gu Aimin from Jixi City, Heilongjiang Province was arrested and taken to the Jidong Detention Center because she was a Falun Gong practitioner. She was force-fed with concentrated saline solution for nine days until her life was in danger. The detention center didn’t want to be accused of killing her, so they let her go after 10 days, but the police continued to harass her after her release. Besides Ms. Gu, five other Falun Gong practitioners from Jixi City were also arrested. They were Zhang Haitao, Li Haiyan, Zhao Chunyan, Zhang Zuojun, and Yang Yiyun.

Ms. Gu, 44, resided in the Chengzihe District of Jixi City. She became a Falun Gong practitioner in 1998 and benefited greatly from the practice both physically and mentally. However, in the past 14 years, she has suffered a great deal from the persecution.

At 6 a.m. on July 14, Liu Hongbo and eight others from the Jidong County Domestic Security Division broke into Ms. Gu’s house. They accused her of knowing a criminal and took her to the Donghai Police Station. With her own house key that they took from her, they entered her house when no one was home and took cash and valuables. An hour after her arrest, they transferred her to the Jidong County Domestic Security Division and interrogated her.

That afternoon, the police locked Ms. Gu in the Jidong Detention Center. Ms. Gu protested the unlawful incarceration and went on a hunger strike. The police force-fed her with a concentrated saline solution. Ms. Gu later vomited all of it out. They continued to force-feed her. Nine days later, Ms. Gu had no pulse and her blood pressure was very low. The detention center informed the chief of the Police Department of this. The chief went to the detention center to check on her and decided they needed to release her to avoid having her die under their supervision. Ms. Gu was released ten days after her arrest.

After Ms. Gu returned home, the police often went to her house to check on her. They also told her neighbors to report Ms. Gu’s whereabouts to the police. Her neighbors refused. One said, “She is not a murderer nor has she done anything wrong. She is a good person and we won’t do this.”

The following is Ms. Gu’s account of her experiences of persecution during the past 14 years:

“Jiang’s regime launched the persecution of Falun Gong in July 20, 1999. At the end of November, 2000, a fellow practitioner and I went to Beijing and displayed a banner that said 'Falun Dafa is good' on Tiananmen Square. On December 20, we went to Beijing again and meditated on Tiananmen Square. The police arrested us and slapped us. We refused to give our names and went on a hunger strike. The police force-fed us and transferred us to the Qian’an City Detention Center. The police pulled my hair and slapped me around. They tortured me, trying to get me to confess to a crime that I didn’t commit. A policeman named Li Jianli was the most brutal. In the end, I confessed to nothing and they had to let me go.

In April of 2003, someone reported me to the police when I clarified the facts of the persecution to people. Song Wenge from the Donghai Police Station in the Chengzihe District arrested me and took me to the Chengzihe Police Department. Liu Shisheng from the Domestic Security Division of the police department interrogated me and locked me in the 2nd Detention Center in Jixi City. I went on a hunger strike and guard Wang Lijun instigated the detainees to force-feed me with a concentrated salt solution. As a result, my ears became infected and I became deaf. My lungs were also severely damaged. In the end, the guards sent me to a forced labor camp, saying that I “disturbed social stability.” I failed the physical exam at the forced labor camp and the guards had to send me home.

In November 2004, Hong Jun from the Jixi County Domestic Security Division and Song Wenge from the Donghai Police Station broke into my home with a group of officers. They broke down the door and without showing a search warrant, searched my house. They took away my computer and arrested me. At the Jidong County Police Department, the police tortured me during interrogation. An officer repeatedly hit the soles of my feet with a plastic pipe and slapped my face. I went on a hunger strike and eventually they let me go.

Not long after I returned home, the police came to harass me. I was forced to leave home to avoid further persecution. The police caused my father-in-law a lot of grief.

At 6:30 p.m. on May 29, 2012, Liu Zhigang from the Donghaikuang Police Station brought several officers and broke into my rental property. They seized my Falun Dafa books and took me to the Chengzihe District Police Department to torture and interrogate me. I told them nothing. They cuffed me to a chair and insulted me and Falun Dafa. Wang Li, chief of the Domestic Security Division, ordered policemen Yang Hongbao and Jin Xidong to torture and threaten me. I still told them nothing. They eventually sent me to a detention center.

I still wouldn’t say anything at the detention center. They transferred me to the Jidong Domestic Security Division. Deputy Chief Han Hengchang interrogated me many times with no results.

I remembered what Teacher said,

“No matter what the situation, do not cooperate with the evil’s demands, orders, or what it instigates." ("Dafa Disciples’ Righteous Thoughts are Powerful" in Essentials for Further Advancement II)

I would not talk or eat. The police returned me to the Jidong Detention Center. I failed the health examination and the detention center wouldn’t accept me. Han Hengchang wanted my family to pay 20,000 yuan to release me. My family refused this demand. Han ultimately extorted 8000 yuan from them and I was released. With the constant harassment from the authorities, I have had to leave home again and have now become destitute.
