(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 19 cities or counties in 10 provinces. According to this report, 9 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 34 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Huaihua City, Hunan Province] Ms. Yang Xiaoping Sentenced to a Five Year Prison Term

Ms. Yang Xiaoping was arrested at home by officers from the Sichuan Police Department, the 610 Office, and the Jingzhou Police Department on May 25, 2013. She was held at the Fushun Detention Center for several months and sentenced to a five-year prison term by the Fushun Court on October 21. She is being held at the Leshan Wumaping Prison.

2. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Ms. Bao Wenju and Mr. Zhu Yujun Held at Jilin Detention Center

Ms. Bao Wenju and Mr. Zhu Yujun were recently arrested by the Jilin City Police Department. They are being held at the Jilin Detention Center.

3. [Renqiu City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Guiying Arrested

Ms. Wang Guiying, 58, was arrested on the morning of October 30, 2013.

4. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Xia Dongmei Sentenced to a Four Year Prison Term

Ms. Xia Dongmei was sentenced to a four-year prison term by the Guta District Court on September 24, 2013. She appealed to the Jinzhou City Intermediate Court, which upheld the ruling on October 25.

5. [Wuchuan County, Inner Mongolia] Mr. Xing Guodong Arrested

Mr. Xing Guodong was arrested at home on October 29, 2013.

6. [Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Wang Lei Arrested

Ms. Wang Lei was arrested at home on October 29, 2013, and taken to a forced labor camp.

7. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Ms. Han Yuying Imprisoned at Zhangqiu Women's Prison

Ms. Han Yuying was arrested by Ding Guanyong, along with officers from the Mashang Police Station, the 610 Office, the Domestic Security Division, and the Zibo City Police Department in mid-May 2013. She was held at a detention center. She was secretly sentenced to a three year prison term by a court and transferred to the Zhangqiu Women's Prison.

8. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Three Practitioners Sentenced

Ms. Wang Ting, Ms. Zhu Wei, and Ms. Bai Yun were secretly sentenced to three years and two months, three years, and three years and two months prison terms, respectively, by the Chaoyang District Court on October 24, 2013.

9. [Chongqing] Ms. Tao Zhengyun Arrested

Ms. Tao Zhengyun was arrested on October 29, 2013.

10. [Puyang City, Henan Province] Two Practitioners Arrested and Two Practitioners Threatened

Ms. Chen Hengfang, Ms. Liu Hua, Ms. Ni Jinzhi, and Mr. Yu Dezhi were threatened by officers from the Puyang City 610 Office and the Hualong District Court on the morning of October 25, 2013. Ms. Ni and Mr. Yu were arrested. Ms. Chen and Ms. Liu were not arrested because they strongly resisted the arrest.

11. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Mr. Wang Xiaoshun Arrested

Mr. Wang Xiaoshun was arrested by officers from the Jiaokou Police Department on October 11, 2013, when he was talking to people about Falun Gong and the persecution. He was held for 15 days and then transferred to a detention center.

12. [Jixi City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhang Lianying and Ms. Hou Jinhua Arrested

Ms. Zhang Lianying and Ms. Hou Jinhua were arrested by officers from the Erdaohezi Police Station on the morning of October 27, 2013, when they were speaking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong.

13. [Xian City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Zhou Yating Held at the Xian City Detention Center

Ms. Zhou Yating was arrested by officers, including Niu Tao from the Chuanghuilu Police Station, on May 29, 2013, when she was talking to people about Falun Gong and the persecution. She was given a five-month term, to be served at the Xian City Detention Center.

14. [Tonghua City, Jilin Province] Mr. Hu Song Arrested

Mr. Hu Song was arrested at his home by officers from the Yanjiang Primary School and the 610 Office on May 29, 2013. He was taken to the Hejia Guesthouse Brainwashing Center.

15. [Chongqing] Four Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Zeng Chuanfa, Ms. Zhou Mengqi, Mr. Chen Yanan, and Ms. Zhou Yuer were arrested at home on October 27, 2013. They were taken to the No. 1 Prison.

16. [Shaoguan City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Yang Xiuling Taken to the Sanshui Brainwashing Center

Ms.Yang Xiuling was arrested by officers from the Domestic Security Section of the Zhenjiang District Police Department on October 9, 2013. She is being held at the Sanshui Brainwashing Center.

17. [Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province] Mr. Shi Bingjun Taken to the Wuxi Brainwashing Center

Mr. Shi Bingjun was arrested on October 10, 2013, and is being held at the Wuxi City Brainwashing Center.

18. [Anshan City, Liaoning Province] Several Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Long Gang, along with his wife and daughter, Ms. Long Jiahui, were arrested at home on October 27, 2013. Seven other practitioners were also arrested at the same time, including Ms. Shang Jing, Mr. Yao Xiangdong, Ms. Gao Sujuan and her husband, Ms. Guo Sufang, and Mr. Tang Chao and his mother. Their homes were ransacked.

19. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Wang Dongmei and Ms. Tao Xuemei were arrested by plainclothes officers on August 26, 2013. Mr. He Zhihong was arrested by plainclothes officers. Ms. Tao was released after paying a fine of 6,000 yuan. The other two are still being held in Shiyan City.

20. [Beijing] Mr. Wang Zicheng and His Wife Ms. Zhang Aiping Held at the Binhe Police Station

Mr. Wang Zicheng and his wife Ms. Zhang Aiping were arrested by officers from the

Pinggu District Domestic Security Division and the local police station on the afternoon of October 29, 2013, when they were distributing informational materials about Falun Gong and the persecution. Officers broke into their homes and confiscated two computers, a printer, Falun Gong books, three photos of the founder of Falun Gong, and cash. The couple is being held at the Binhe Police Station.
