(Minghui.org) Mr. Sun Hongbo from Nongan City, Jilin Province, was abducted on June 5, 2013 by officials from the local Domestic Security office, who interrogated and tortured him. The following article is his personal account.
“I was driving my car at 10 a.m. on June 5, 2013 when suddenly a police vehicle stopped in front of me. Tang Ke, head of the Nongan City Domestic Security Division, ordered other police officers to confiscate my car key. They then took me to the Gucheng Police Station.
There, I was put in an interrogation room, where several police officers surrounded me. Zhou Dahai slapped me and asked where I got my informational materials about Falun Dafa, which they found in my bag. They took turns beating me, because they didn't like my answer. Tang Ke and the head of the Gucheng Police Station were present and watched.
The interrogation continued into the afternoon. Police officers humiliated and slapped me until I fell to the ground. They hit my shin with a wooden club, which broke after three blows due to the extreme force. They also tried to force me to sign a so-called "deposition," but I refused. They grew angrier and dragged me downstairs to another interrogation room. Two police officers entered the room, holding wooden clubs in their hands. One of them targeted my shins and knee caps, the other kicked my upper thighs. I subsequently became unable to stand up due to the extreme pain and numbness in my legs. These two officers then repeatedly hit the same area on one of my arms.

The interrogation continued until 10:00 p.m. In the process, they took a sample of my blood and photographed me. They chained me onto a tiger bench and kept me there overnight. A police officer in a black shirt threatened me, “If you don't confess, Tang Ke will kill you tomorrow.”
The next day, four officers handcuffed my hands behind my back and held me down on the ground. One of them bent my arms toward my head. I screamed from the sharp pain, and another officer kicked my face. At that moment, a local resident came in to get some paperwork done, and one of the officers said, “Don't beat him here, let's go upstairs.” I was then dragged up to the third floor. Two police officers handcuffed my hands behind my back and put the handcuffs over a railing so that my feet were off the ground and my shoulders were twisted and under extreme strain.
One officer fiercely hit my chest with a hoe, one burned my face with a lighter, one kicked my heels with pointy shoes, and one pushed the back of my knees down with a hoe to put more strain on my shoulders. I was sweating profusely due to the excruciating pain, and screamed. An officer tried to silence me by sticking a mop into my mouth. He also shocked me with an electric baton.
I was then dragged down to the first floor again. An officer slapped me and kicked me so hard that I squatted down. He tightened the handcuffs until my hands were numb. He also tried to force me to slander Falun Dafa, but I refused. He punched my left eye repeatedly with great force. My face became swollen, my eye was bloody, the eyeball protruded, and did not stop watering.
I was detained for a total of 13 hours. I was given nothing to eat or drink during that time and could not sleep at night. I was in handcuffs all the time until they took me to the Wugongli Detention Center, where they took my picture and fingerprints. Police officers Lu Mingxuan and Zhou Dahai came to the detention center and threatened to sentence me to a forced labor camp term if I didn't give up my belief in Falun Dafa.”
