(Minghui.org) Mr. Liu Xifeng, a Falun Gong practitioner and former teacher at the Nantou High School, was recently arrested and taken to the Shenzhen Brainwashing Center (a.k.a. Xili Brainwashing Center).
The Shenzhen Brainwashing Center was established by the 610 Office specifically to persecute practitioners. Another practitioner, Ms. Zhang Fuying, recently died in this brainwashing center.
Husband and Wife Persecuted
Previously, Mr. Liu was illegally detained in the Guangdong Sihui Prison for more than a decade. The abuse and torture in the prison rendered him physically disabled.
Mr. Liu's wife, Ms. Wang Xiaodong, was an outstanding teacher at the Nanshan Foreign Language School. She died several years ago after being tortured in the Nanshan Detention Center. The guards at the detention center and agents from the Nanshan 610 Office were responsible for the abuse.
