(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place 9 cities or counties in 7 provinces. According to this report, 5 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 8 practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Muling City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Liu Xiuju and Ms. Xu Chenqin Arrested
2. [Guantao County, Hebei Province] Domestic Security Division Head Li Junshan Harassed Practitioners
3. [Chengdu, Sichuan Province] Ms. Sun Yu Sent to Brainwashing Center
4. [Daqing, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Weijun Sent Brainwashing Center
5. [Langfang, Hebei Province] Mr. Liu Jiangtong Held in Brainwashing Center
6. [Ningde City, Fujian Province] Ms. Lin Fen Arrested
7. [Dongying City, Shandong Province] Mr. Cao Xinghong and Ms. Wei Xiurong Arrested
8. [Dunhua City, Jilin Province] Niu Lihua Detained
9. [Huan County, Gansu Province] Police Attempt to Arrest Ms. Miu Huixia
1. [Muling City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Liu Xiuju and Ms. Xu Chenqin Arrested Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Liu Xiuju and Ms. Xu Chenqin from Maqiaohe New Station were illegally arrested at home on September 8, 2013. Their present whereabouts are unknown.
2. [Guantao County, Hebei Province] Domestic Security Division Head Li Junshan Harassed Practitioners Li Junshan, the Domestic Security Division leader in Guantao County, together with several policemen, intruded into the homes of Mr. Zhang Huaijun, Mr. Zhao Yinqiang and another practitioner and searched them on September 5, 2013. The practitioners were not at home.
3. [Chengdu, Sichuan Province] Ms. Sun Yu Sent to Brainwashing Center Longquan 610 Office agents intruded into Ms. Sun Yu’s home on September 5, 2013. Ms. Sun was taken to Xinjin Brainwashing Center. Her two computers and four cellphones were taken.
4. [Daqing, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Weijun Sent Brainwashing Center Ms. Weijun, 38 years old, was arrested twice and illegally sentenced to 9 years of imprisonment. After she was persecuted for five years at Harbin Women’s Prison and released, she was sent to a brainwashing center when her term was up.
5. [Langfang, Hebei Province] Mr. Liu Jiangtong Held in Brainwashing Center Mr. Liu Jiangtong was arrested on the afternoon of August 27, 2013, when he was distributing Falun Gong related materials. He is now detained in Langfang Brainwashing Center.

6. [Ningde City, Fujian Province] Ms. Lin Fen Arrested Ms. Lin Fen was taken from her home by local police on the afternoon of September 3, 2013. Her whereabouts are still unknown.
7. [Dongying City, Shandong Province] Mr. Cao Xinghong and Ms. Wei Xiurong Arrested Mr. Cao Xinghong and Ms. Wei Xiurong both work at Shengli Oil Field. They were illegally arrested in Shanghe County on September 1, 2013, while they were handing out materials.
8. [Dunhua City, Jilin Province] Niu Lihua Detained Ms. Niu Lihua went to Dunhua City with her husband one month ago. She was arrested when she told people the facts about Falun Gong. According to her husband, she is now at the Qiuligou Detention Center.
9. [Huan County, Gansu Province] Police Attempt to Arrest Ms. Miu Huixia Officers from Domestic Security Division and several staff members from the community office surrounded Ms. Miu Huixia’s house on the morning on September 9, 2013. They knocked on her door but Ms. Miu did not open it. They waited downstairs till 12 p.m. They weren't able to arrest Ms. Miu’s son when he returned from school, so they left.
