(Minghui.org) Six Falun Gong practitioners in Sanhe City, Langfang, Hebei Province, including Ms. Xu Shaozun, were helping a seriously ill elderly woman, when they were arrested by Xu Lilin and other officers from the Dongcheng Police Station, Yanjiao on January 21, 2013. The elderly woman was frightened by the police and soon died. The following is information on the arrest of the practitioners.
In January 2013, Ms. Wang (alias) was suffering with terminal cancer. Doctors told her that it was incurable and that she'd best prepare for her funeral. Because she knew Falun Gong has a supernatural effect in healing illnesses and maintaining one's health, she found Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Xu Shaozun, seeking her help with a strong desire to live. Practitioners helped her, studied the Fa teachings with her, and taught her the Falun Gong exercises. A few days later, the woman felt a significant improvement to her health, which gave her hope.
On the night of January 21, 2013, Ms. Xu and five other practitioners were accompanying Ms. Wang to study the Fa, when officer Xu Lilin and others from the Dongcheng Police Station turned up at their house. They pretended to be from property management in order to trick the practitioners into opening the door, but they did not succeed. Then they brought a drill and started to drill a hole in the wall.
The practitioners opened the door to avoid a loss to the landlord. The police swarmed in, rummaging, searching the place, and confiscating all Dafa books. One practitioner tried to escape, but an officer caught her, then punched and kicked her.
The police ransacked the home, took six practitioners to the police station, and then locked them up in a big iron cage for 24 hours. Then they took them to the Sanhe Detention Center. It was very close to the Chinese New Year and very cold, but the guards deliberately did not give them any quilts.
After 13 days, the guards took the practitioners to a hospital to be examined, attempting to have them them officially detained. Because Ms. Xu, Zhang Deli, Niu Guiling, and Elderly Lady Li didn't pass the physical, the detention center refused to accept them. The police had to “bail them out,” but the other practitioners were taken to the detention center for further persecution.
The police officer's intimidation frightened Ms. Wang. She could not continue to study the Fa or practice the exercises. She soon passed away. Dafa practitioners are truly saving lives, while the evil Party is, indeed, harming and destroying people.
