(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 12 cities or counties in 8 provinces. According to this report, 5 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during detention, and at least 11 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Shuangyashan City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Qiu Guoxiang Arrested

Ren Huiguang, head of the Political Work Section at Meitan General Hospital in Shuangyashan, colluded with Zhang Fu, Dean of the Second Outpatient Wards of the Mining Administration Bureau, to take Ms. Qiu Guoxiang, a hospital employee to the Jixian County Detention Center on the morning of September 9, 2013. They forced her to write a guarantee statement renouncing her belief in Falun Gong. Had she refused to write this statement, she would have been sent to the Shuangyashan Brainwashing Center.

2. [Chaoyang County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Li Yuhuan and Ms. Guo Hairong Arrested

Officers from the Chaoyang County Police Department and the Liucheng Police Station went to Dazhangzi Village, Shiertai and arrested Ms. Li Yuhuan and Ms. Guo Hairong on the evening of September 6, 2013. They were sent to the Chaoyang County Lockup Center.

3. [Wuhan, Hubei Province] Mr. Zhao Hu Transferred to the Jianghan District Detention Center

Mr. Zhao Hu had been detained in the Gongan Second Detention Center and was transferred to the Jianghan District Detention Center in May 2013.

4. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Yao Changli Arrested

Ms. Yao Changli is a dormitory keeper at Northeast Normal University, Changchun. She was arrested when she distributed informational materials about Falun Gong on July 21, 2013.

5. [Shihezi, Xinjiang] Mr. Wu Shengming Arrested

Mr. Wu Shengming was recently arrested and taken to a brainwashing session, which was held in the Dehu Hotel in Shihezi.

6. [Dongying, Shandong Province] Mr. Ding Kuangsong Arrested

Mr. Ding Kuangsong, employed at the Shengli Oil Field, was recently arrested when he was accompanying his child to college.

7. [Chongqing] Mr. Zhou Dulun Arrested

Mr. Zhou Dulun was arrested on the evening of September 6, 2013, on a street, by officers from the Jingkou Police Station. The police searched his home. His family learned on September 9, 2013 that he had been sent to the Baiheling Detention Center.

8. [Baoding, Hebei Province] Ms. Gao Liping Arrested

Ms. Gao Liping, an employee of the Baoding Cotton Mill, was arrested recently by officers from the Mianyi Police Station. Her home was searched, and the police confiscated her computer, printer, and other personal property.

9. [Chaoyang County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Xiao Guofen Arrested

On the afternoon of September 5, 2013, officers from the Beigoumen Township, Chaoyang County searched Ms. Xiao Guofen's home in Zhoutaizi Village. They took her Falun Gong books and pictures of Master Li, the founder of Falun Gong. The police went to her home again on the morning of September 9, 2013 and arrested her. She was sent to the Chaoyang Detention Center.

10. [Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Chunfen Arrested

Ms. Wang Chunfen was arrested by officers from the Nanta Police Department Branch on the morning of September 9, 2013. The police searched her home and confiscated informational materials about Falun Gong, pictures of Master Li, and Falun Gong books.

11. [Zhumadian City, Henan Province] Ms. Kang Fuchun Arrested

Ms. Kang Fuchun was arrested on August 9, 2013. She was detained at the Zhumadian Lockup Center and subsequently transferred to the Zhumadian Detenton Center on August 20, 2013.

12. [Suihua City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Gao Yuanzhuang Sentenced

Li Jianfei and Wang Shubo from Beilin District, Suihua had extorted 50,000 yuan from his family, yet didn't release Mr. Gao Yuanzhuang. He was recently sentenced to a three-year prison sentence and sent to the Hulan Prison.

13. [Hui County, Gansu Province] Mr. She Jindong Arrested

The Gansu Provincial 610 Office ordered the public security organizations in Hui County to arrest Mr. She Jindong on August 26, 2013.

14. [Jiansanjiang, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Jiang Xinbo Continuously Held and Persecuted

Ms. Jiang Xinbo from the Qianjin Farm was supposedly released from the Harbin Women's Prison on September 9, 2013. Li Junli, Party secretary of the Qianjin Farm Politics and Law Committee; Wang Li, director of the Police Department; Wang Ping, director of the 610 Office, along other officers, went to the prison and transferred Ms. Jiang to the Qinglongshan Brainwashing Center for continuous detention.
