(Minghui.org) Thousands of people from eight villages in Tangshan and Qinhuangdao, Hebei Province recently signed a petition again to request Mr. Zheng Xiangxing's release.

A group of people led by Liu Jiaman, deputy chief of the Tanghai Bureau, and Li Fuguo, head of the Domestic Security Division, went to the Tanghai 10th Farm early on the morning of February 25, 2012. They forcibly entered Mr. Zheng’s repair shop and arrested him. After Mr. Zheng's illegal arrest, 526 villagers from Tanghai 10th and 11th Farms signed and put their thumbprints on a petition. (Imprinting their thumbprint in red wax is a traditional Chinese custom of signing a document to indicate solemnity of the signature.) The petition was a request to immediately release Mr. Zheng, who is recognized by all the villagers as a good person. This case generated a huge response both in China and abroad.

Recently, 1,201 villagers from eight villages in two towns in Tangshan and Qinhuangdao signed and put their thumbprints on another petition requesting that the Chinese Communist Party immediately release Mr. Zheng, after finding out that he had been tortured until he was on the verge of death.

Since opening his repair shop, Zheng Xiangxing has treated every customer kindly and honestly, especially regarding after-sales service. When customers call him to repair an electronic device, Zheng Xiangxing tries his best to arrive on time no matter how far away the customer lives or what time it is. All the repairs are free. He is genuine and kind-hearted. He treats elderly customers very well and always tells them to be careful when riding back home. They all like him.
Most of the villagers from the 10th and 11th Farms buy their home appliances and electric vehicles from Zheng Xiangxing’s shop because they trust him. The villagers also ask Zheng Xiangxing to repair their broken devices because they trust his superior technical skills.
Everyone recognizes Zheng Xiangxing as a good person. Before the local government built the roads, Zheng Xiangxing loaded his own vehicle with gravel and paved the roads for the villagers to be able to walk on. He also cleaned out the garbage. These deeds are known to all the villagers, even the people who work at the farm office.
On April 6th, Zheng Xiangxing’s life was in imminent danger, and he was sent to Tangshan Ankang Hospital, which is actually a drug addiction treatment center. At that time, Zheng Xiangxing’s family saw him in front of the detention center. He was extremely weak. Zheng Xiangxing was leaning back in his chair and couldn't even raise his head or muster the strength to say a word. Even in that condition, he was still cuffed at the wrist.
In only one month, Ding Jianyi, head of the detention center, persecuted Zheng Xiangxing until he was on the verge of death. Ding also threatened Zheng Xiangxing’s wife, relatives, and elderly mother.
At the time, Ding told the guards to take pictures of all the people present at the detention center and threatened that he would detain them if they didn't leave. Zheng Xiangxing’s wife and mother were crying, and everyone there felt sad.
Zheng Xiangxing was sent back to Tanghai Detention Center on April 17. When he arrived there, he couldn't walk by himself. The guards had to take him to his cell.
We (1,201people) strongly urge officials at all levels to immediately stop persecuting Falun Dafa and the practitioners and unconditionally release Zheng Xiangxing. Let these kind people return to society and contribute to our nation. We would also like to appeal to people in China and around the world to please help rescue Zheng Xiangxing.
