(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 23 cities or counties and in 9 provinces. In this report, 6 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention and at least 34 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Liu Qingtao Held at the Daheishan Detention Center

Mr. Liu Qingtao's wife left home to go to work on the morning of July 6, 2012. She was stopped on the stairs by officers who were waiting in the hallway. The officers opened the door with her keys. More than ten officers ransacked her home and confiscated a printer, two laptop computers, several cellphones, and other personal belongings. Ms. Liu was taken to the Wanli Police Station and released in the middle of the night.

Mr. Liu was arrested in his car at around 10:00 a.m. that morning. His car was taken away by the police. Mr. Liu is being held at the Daheishan Detention Center.

2. [Tanghai County, Hebei Province] Ms. Zheng Lanrong Sentenced to One Year of Forced Labor

Ms. Zheng Lanrong, from the No. 10 Farm in Tanghai County, was taken to the Shijiazhuang Forced Labor Camp on the morning of July 17, 2012 to serve one year of forced labor. Ms. Zheng's husband, Mr. Wu Qingmin was taken to the Kaiping Forced Labor Camp on July 18. The camp authorities refused to admit him because he did not pass the physical exam. He was sent home.

3. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Six Practitioners Including Ms. Niu Guifang Arrested

Ms. Niu Guifang, Ms. Niu Guihua, Ms. Qu Lihong, and Ms. Chen Min were arrested by officers from the Shenbei District Police Department on the evening of July 19, 2012, while hanging Falun Gong informational banners on Xinchengzi Street in Shenbei District. The police ransacked the practitioners' homes.

Ms. Ren Xiuqin and Ms. Lu Guoqin went to Ms. Qu's home on the afternoon of July 20 and were arrested by officers who were ransacking the place at the time.

Mr. Gao Dianxin and his wife Ms. Zhang Shiyun were arrested by officers from the Xinhua Police Department on the evening of July 19, 2012.

5. [Yi County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Li Zhongfu Detained

Ms. Li Zhongfu was arrested by officers from the Domestic Security Division and the SWAT team of Yi County Police Department on the morning of July 20, 2012. She is being held at the Jinzhou Detention Center.

6. [Panshi City, Jilin Province] Mr. Jiang Chunlie and Mr. Du Jun Arrested

Mr. Jiang Chunlie was arrested at home on July 17, 2012. Mr. Do Jun was also arrested. Mr. Jiang and Mr. Du are being held at the Panshi Detention Center. The police smashed open the trunk of Mr. Jiang's car and confiscated all the truth clarification materials.

7. [Lishu County, Jilin Province] Ms. Shi Zhuoyu Arrested on July 20, 2012

8. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Lu Fenghai Held at the Jinzhou Detention Center

Ms. Lu Fenghai, an employee of the Jinzhou Depot Station, was arrested at work by officers from the Jinzhou 610 Brigade and the Jinzhou Railroad Police Bureau on the night of July 12, 2012. Ms. Lu is being held at the Jinzhou Detention Center.

9. [Heishan County, Liaoning Province] Mr. Feng Xiantang and Ms. Liu Yuqing Arrested

Mr. Feng Xiantang and Ms. Liu Yuqing were arrested by officers from the Heishan Domestic Security Division and the Fangshan Town Police Station early on the morning of July 19, 2012. The police ransacked their home and confiscated laptop computers.

10. [Linkou County, Heilongjiang Province] More Information on the Arrest of Mr. Wang Chenghua

Ms. Wang Chenghua, from Liuhe Village, Lianhua Town, Linkou County, was arrested by officers from the Lianhua Town Police Station on the evening of July 12, 2012. She is being held at the Nanshan Detention Center.

11. [Haicheng City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Tian Baowei Infected with Pulmonary Tuberculosis in Dongling Prison

Mr. Tian Baowei was sentenced to a five-year prison term. He was transferred from Dabei Prison to Dongling Prison in early June 2012. He was not allowed to practice Falun Gong in the prison and was infected with pulmonary tuberculosis. The prison authorities refused to offer medical treatment.

12. [Jimo City, Shandong Province] More Information on the Arrest of Mr. Song Yusheng

Mr. Song Yusheng, from Donglu Village, Tianheng Town, Jimo City, was arrested on June 19, 2012, by officers from the Tianheng Police Station. He was taken to the Jimo Detention Center. He developed high blood pressure in the detention center and hasn't been able to eat for five days, since July 17. The detention center authorities refused to release him.

13. [Xuanhua County, Hebei Province] Mr. Xu Tao Arrested

Mr. Xu Tao was secretly arrested by officers from the Xuanhua County Riot Police Brigade on June 29, 2012. He is being held at the Xuanhua Detention Center.

14. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhao Yuling Arrested and Her Home Ransacked

Ms. Zhao Yuling, from Xidayang Village, Hongdao Sub-district, Chengyang District, Qingdao, was arrested by security officers on the evening of July 19, 2012, while writing truth clarification words on a wall. Officers from the Hongdao Police Station ransacked her home the next morning.

15. [Handan City, Hebei Province] Mr. Ai Baohui Arrested

About eight plainclothes officers from the Domestic Security Division of the Hanshan District Police Department went to Mr. Ai Baohui's home at noon on July 19, 2012, and arrested him. Mr. Ai was taken to the Maoxi Police Station.

16. [Shenze County, Hebei Province] Mr. Wang Jinxi Arrested

Mr. Wang Jinxi, in his seventies, from Nanguan Village, Shenze County, was arrested by officers from the Zhaoba Town Police Station on July 19, 2012, while speaking with people about Falun Gong in Beizhaoba Village. He is being held at the Zhaoba Town Police Station.

17. [Dingzhou City, Hebei Province] Mr. Jia Zhanmin and His Two Sons Detained

Mr. Jia Zhanmin and his two non-practitioner sons were arrested on July 6, 2012, by several officers from the Dingzhou Domestic Security Division, including Ma Tiezhu. Mr. Jia is being held at the Handan Forced Labor Camp. His sons are being held at the Shunping Detention Center.

18. [Chongqing] Mr. Li Kexiong Arrested in Dongguan City, Guangdong Province on June 1, 2012

19. [Heyuan City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Li Qingmei and Three Other Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Li Qingmei, Mr. Wu Hongwei, Ms. Zeng, and another practitioner were arrested on July 19, 2012, by officers from the Heyuan Domestic Security Division and 610 Office. Ms. Li is being interrogated and the other three practitioners were released. The police ransacked Ms. Li's home and confiscated a computer and other personal belongings.

20. [Guiyang City, Guizhou Province] Ms. Wang Xiuhua Arrested at Home on July 7, 2012

21. [Chibi City, Hubei Province] Mr. Zhou Guoqiang Arrested

Mr. Zhou Guoqiang was arrested by patrol officers while he was hanging truth clarification banners near the old location of the Chibi Labor Bureau early on the morning of July 20, 2012.

22. [Hengyang City, Hunan Province] Ms. Wang Xiaohong, Ms. Liu Jinlian, and Ms. Gao Fang Arrested

Ms. Wang Xiaohong, Ms. Liu Jinlian, and Ms. Gao Fang were arrested while speaking with people about Falun Gong in Yunji Town, Hengnan County on the morning of July 19, 2012. They were taken to the Yunji Town Police Station.
