(Minghui.org) My wife once suffered from rheumatism and other diseases. After she started to practice Falun Dafa in 1997, all her diseases disappeared. She became healthy and held herself to a high moral standard. Our whole family is grateful for Falun Dafa.
After Falun Dafa was banned and Master was framed, I supported my wife when she went to Beijing four times to appeal for justice. Speaking out for Falun Dafa and declaring that Master is innocent is the responsibility of every beneficiary. During the first two years in which the evil Party suppressed Falun Dafa, the local police arrested and harassed practitioners. Once I was at home when officers came to arrest my wife. I told them about the benefits of practicing Falun Dafa and that it was wrong of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) to suppress it. I also advised them not to persecute practitioners. They also thought it made no sense and left without any argument.
Agents with the 610 Office where I worked asked my manager multiple times regarding my wife's status. They also searched local practitioners and asked each one of them whether they had contact with my wife. They detained one practitioner, who was an acquaintance of my wife, for several days. They forced that practitioner to disclose the source of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and other informational materials. In 2005, the head and several other agents with the local 610 Office came to my company looking for me. Then they came to my home and wanted to talk to me. I knew that they planed to carry out an attack and search my house. I was very calm because I knew that evil beings cannot defeat righteousness. A few people entered my house and sat down in my bedroom. There was a copy of Zhuan Falun on my nightstand, as well as an amulet(1) bearing the words “Falun Dafa is good.”
They asked about my wife, who practices Falun Dafa. I began to talk about the practice, which promotes kindness and following the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. I told them that the bad things the CCP propaganda had spread about Falun Dafa were all rumors and that I hoped they would not persecute such kind people. If they did, they would incur retribution for themselves. All the previous political movements led by the communist party were wrong, and tens of millions of people died as a result of them. Those who participated all suffered karmic retribution.
I talked to them for a few hours, and they could find nothing to disagree with. In the end, they invited me to dinner. I asked whether they needed to check other rooms, but they said, “No need” and left. From then on, they never came to harass me at work again.
I practice the five exercises whenever I have time. When I read Zhuan Falun, I sit with my legs double crossed and read Master's teachings respectfully. In my daily life, I follow Master's instructions. Currently, even in my 70s, I still do some high work. I work with caution and am quick. My company trusts me, so they've persuaded me to stay on again and again. Even though I am older, I always treat my co-workers like family. I've never lost my temper when people were late or made mistakes. They appreciate my tolerance. I told them about the benefits of Falun Dafa and that it was the teachings of Falun Dafa that made me a better person. Gradually, all my co-workers learned the truth about Falun Dafa and that the CCP persecution is evil and wrong. All my co-workers withdrew from the CCP and its affiliated organizations. Everyone carried an amulet with the words “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” and kept these words in mind.
Our whole family has benefited from Master's grand mercy. Master has protected us countless times when we were in danger. Here I will recount just a few instances.
In 1998, I was riding a motorcycle home. A bus passed me and stopped suddenly. I had no time to brake and hit the back of the bus. I fell down with the motorcycle in the middle of the road. The bus driver and the passengers all got out to check on me. I slowly got up and saw that my clothes were torn. I only had some scratches, which were bleeding a little. The back of bus was dented. The driver didn't report it to the police as he realized that he was partially responsible. I propped up the motorcycle and saw that only some paint had been scratched off. I rode another 30 or 40 kilometers until I got home. My whole family appreciated Master's kindness for saving my life. My motorcycle still works fine to this day.
One night in 2002, my son was riding his bike home after studying at school in the evening. He was hit by a motorcycle carrying several people. His cross bar was bent, but he didn't incur any injuries at all. My whole family thanks Master for protecting our son during this danger and for saving his life. However, the bike could not be fixed. My wife told the people in the bike shop the truth about Dafa. Everyone felt the magic of Dafa when they saw the bike, which was totaled, but no injury had occurred to the rider.
Before July 20, 1999, I used to play Master's lecture videos at my home. I welcomed practitioners to listen to the Fa at my place. When my wife was not at home, my daughter opened the door for practitioners that came to study the Fa, and she took care of their needs. My son bought an MP3 player for practitioners in 2003. He recorded Master's lectures and exercise music. He also taught practitioners how to use it. He helped them to surf the Internet and with other computer related issues. It was a pleasure for everyone in my family to do something for Falun Dafa because we all benefit from it.
Telling relatives, friends and acquaintances about the kindness of Falun Dafa by using my own experiences has become a part of my life. I tell them to sincerely say "Falun Dafa is good,” which can protect them when in danger. I wish more people could benefit from Falun Dafa, like I did.
Note: (1) Amulets – In China, practitioners sometimes clarify the truth by giving people something small to wear or cherish, bearing a few words reminding them of the goodness of Dafa.
