Additional Persecution News from China – July 7, 2012 (26 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 21 cities or counties and in 10 provinces. In this report, 23 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention and at least 20 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Heze City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Xiulian and Over 20 Other Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Wang Xiulian and more than 20 other practitioners were arrested by officers from the Heze Developmental District Police Department and the Danyang Police Station on the evening of July 5, 2012. They were taken to the Danyang Police Station, and their houses were ransacked.

2. [Anyang City, Henan Province] Ms. Liu Fenglan Sentenced to 3 Years in Prison

Ms. Liu Fenglan was sentenced to 3 years in prison and taken to the Xinxiang Women's Prison on June 24, 2012.

3. [Lingyuan City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Dong Xiaoming Detained

Mr. Dong Xiaoming is a teacher at the Dongzhangzi Elementary School. The parents of one student reported him to the authorities for speaking about Falun Dafa in class. Mr. Dong was arrested at the school on June 4, 2012, by Wang Guilin, chief of the Lingyuan Domestic Security Division, and the head of the local police station. He was taken to the Lingyuan Detention Center. Wang Guilin extorted 50,000 yuan from Mr. Dong's family, but Mr. Dong was still not released.

4. [Dongfeng County, Jilin Province] Mr. Huang Jie and Ms. Yu Ping Detained

Mr. Huang Jie and Ms. Yu Ping were taken to the Liaoyuan Detention Center on July 1, 2012.

5. [Liaoyuan City, Jilin Province] Ms. Sun Liduo Detained; Ms. Qu and Two Others Arrested

Ms. Sun Liduo was arrested by officers from the Xining Police Station while distributing Falun Dafa informational materials after work on the afternoon of July 1, 2012. She is being held in the Liaoyuan Detention Center.

Ms. Qu went to the home of Mr. Liu Jingli and his wife to study Falun Dafa teachings on the evening of July 1, 2012. Several police officers broke into the house and arrested the practitioners. Ms. Qu was bailed out by her family on July 4, 2012. The whereabouts of the Mr. Liu and his wife remain unknown.

6. [Shengyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhaojie Arrested

Ms. Zhaojie was arrested by officers from the Danan Police Station on the morning of July 7, 2012. She is being held at the Danan Police Station.

7. [Liaoyuan City, Jilin Province] Family of Five Arrested and Detained

Mr. Liu Jingjun and his wife were arrested by officers from the Nankang Police Department on the evening of July 1, 2012. His brother Liu Jingli, along with wife Zhang Jinghua and son Liu Xinyu, was arrested on July 2, 2012, by officers from the same police department. The practitioners are being held in the Xiangyang Detention Center in Liaoyuan City. Family visits are prohibited.

8. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Xu Fengxian Detained

Jing Xiaogang from the Shuangyang Police Station and three officers form the Jinzhou Police Department forced their way into the home of Ms. Xu Fengxian on the morning of June 25, 2012. They confiscated Falun Dafa informational pamphlets and DVDs, as well as a computer. Ms. Xu was arrested and is being held at the Dalingzi Detention Center.

9. [Huludao City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wu Xiulan and Ms. Yang Suqin Detained

Ms. Wu Xiulan and Ms. Yang Suqin were arrested by Li Zhinan, head of the Laodazhangzi Police Station, and Zhang Tianxin, assistant police officer, while talking to people about Falun Dafa on the afternoon of July 5, 2012. They are being held in the Huludao City Detention Center.

10. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Yanqiu Detained

Ms Wang Yanqiu was arrested while distributing Shen Yun Performing Arts DVDs on June 30, 2012. She was taken to the Jinzhou Detention Center on July 1, 2012, by officers from the Nanjie Police Station.

11. [Beijing] Ms. Zhong Xiuqing and Two Other Practitioners Sent to Brainwashing Center

Ms. Zhong Xiuqing and two other practitioners were taken to the Changping District Brainwashing Center on the afternoon of June 2, 2012. More than 10 police officers participated in the transfer.

12. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Jinxiu and Other Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Wang Jinxiu, 58, and other practitioners were arrested by officers from the Dongyi Road Police Station on July 3, 2012.Their whereabouts remain unknown.

13. [Huai'an City, Jiangsu Province] Mr. Yao Baogui and His Wife Arrested

Mr. Yao Baogui and his wife, Ms. Gao Bujun, were arrested by officers from the Huai'an 610 Office on the afternoon of July 5, 2012. Their home was ransacked.

14. [Hefei, Anhui Province] Ms. Xia Jizhen Held in Brainwashing Center

Ms. Xia Jizhen was arrested by more than 10 officers from the Yaohai District 610 Office on July 6, 2012. She is being held in a brainwashing center located in the Longang Garden Hotel.

15. [Huainan City, Anhui Province] Ms. Xu Jianhua Arrested

Ms. Xu Jianhua, 59, was arrested by police while she took care of her hospitalized parents in the Huainan Xinkang Hospital on June 29, 2012. Prior to that, she had been forced to leave home to avoid being harassed and persecuted by the authorities.

16. [Hefei City, Anhui Province] Mr. Wu Xing Missing for Many Years

Mr. Wu Xing, about 40 years old, used to live in the Anfangdong Employee's Building and work for the Anhui Province TV Station. He was arrested while he went to Beijing to appeal for the right to practice Falun Dafa in 2004 or 2005. His whereabouts remain unknown.

17. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Mr. Song Mujin Arrested

Mr. Song Mujin was recently arrested while setting a satellite receiver for the New Tang Dynasty TV station's programs.

18. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Yang Guorong Sent to Forced Labor Camp

Ms. Yang Guorong was arrested on March 20, 2012. She was sent to the Jinan Women's Forced Labor Camp.

19. [Nanyang City, Henan Province] Mr. Xu Yingcai Detained

Mr. Xu Yingcai, 65, a retired employee of the Nanyang Oilfield Technical School, was arrested by officers from the Shi'an Police Station while distributing Falun Dafa informational materials on the morning of June 30, 2012. His home was ransacked. Mr. Xu is being held in the Nanyang Detention Center.

20. [Dezhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Fan Yudong Sent to Forced Labor Camp

Ms. Fan Yudong was arrested while distributing Falun Dafa informational materials in Dongjia Village on April 29, 2012. She was sent to the Jinan Forced Labor Camp in June 2012.

21. [Zhuzhou City, Hunan Province] Ms. Liu Yongfen Under House Arrest

Ms. Liu Yongfen was taken to the Baimalong Forced Labor Camp by officials from her work unit on July 4, 2012. However, the labor camp refused to admit her due to poor health discovered through physical examination. Ms. Liu was then put under house arrest.

22. [Macheng City, Hubei Province] Mr. Shen Bogui Arrested; Whereabouts Unknown

Mr.Shen Bogui, 69, was arrested by officers from the Macheng 610 Office, police department and Domestic Security Division on the morning of July 6, 2012. His home was ransacked and computers, printers, Falun Dafa materials, bank book, salary card and cash were confiscated. Mr.Shen's whereabouts remain unknown.

23. [Meizhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Liao Xiaoping and Ms. Wang Chunmei Detained

Ms. Liao Xiaoping and Ms. Wang Chunmei were arrested on July 4, 2012. Ms. Liao is being held in the Meijiang District Qinhuang Detention Center and Ms. Wang is being held in the Pingyuan County Detention Center.

24. [Chenzhou City, Hunan Province] Ms. He Jincui Detained

Ms. He Jincui, an employee of the Chenzhou Suxian District File Management Bureau, was arrested by agents from the local 610 Office, who broke into her home on July 3, 2012. The agents confiscated Falun Dafa books and informational materials. Ms. He was taken to the Chenzhou Detention Center.
