1. 15,000 signatures collected

Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Qin Yueming was tortured to death at Jiamusi Prison. This case evoked the anger of the masses. Mr. Qin's 23-year-old daughter, Ms. Qin Rongqin, initiated a petition to urge Beijing authorities to investigate his case. Local practitioners joined her in her efforts. During the process, we noticed that more and more people are awakening and becoming righteous. There were many moving stories. In the end, 15,000 signatures, and corresponding thumbprints, were collected from the residents of Heilongjiang Province in northeastern China.

When an old man heard that the petition would be sent to international bodies to fruther expose the persecution of Falun Gong, he was very happy. His wife also said, "I am illiterate, but otherwise I would also sign the petition." We told her that her kind thoughts were also a form of support for Falun Gong.

A young mother solemnly signed and put her thumbprint on the petition. Her son, who is in high school, also signed and put his thumbprint down. His mother praised him and said, "My son is very righteous!"

Some residents said they didn't want to be left out as they eagerly put down their signatures, and some added statements demanding that the murderers be immediately punished. One resident even wanted to write down his address and telephone number.

After people learned the facts about Falun Gong, their righteousness manifested from within and they began to trust and support Falun Gong practitioners.

2. Police awakening

In February 2012, Wang Lijun, former chief of Chongqing Public Security Bureau, fled to the U.S. Embassy, fearing that his boss Bo Xilai, then head of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in Chongqing, may assassinate him. The incident exposed the unscrupulous dealings, crimes and corruption in the top ranks of the Party.

Subsequently, a couple of police officers took the initiative to find me. They told me to be careful, as security in Beijing was very tight. The police officers said that they will not harm Falun Gong practitioners and would try their best to release arrested Falun Gong practitioners.

An elderly mother of a policeman said, "I frequently tell my children that they must not participate in the persecution of Falun Gong."

Many police officers in Beijing are awakening.

3. Policemen renounce their Party membership

During a school celebration, I told my classmates that the self-immolation incident on Tiananmen Square was a hoax, specifically staged by the CCP to frame Falun Gong. Upon learning the facts about Falun Gong and the persecution, these classmates, some of whom were policemen or worked in prisons, renounced their Party membership.

Later, a few other classmates who are policemen came to visit me. I told them why it is important to renounce their affiliation with the CCP and its related organizations. One policeman said on the spot, "Please help me renounce my Party membership." Other classmates then also followed suit.

After a meal, they asked to watch a video that clarified the facts about Falun Gong and the persecution. When they left, they also took informational materials for further reading.
