(Minghui.org) Teacher said in the article “Teaching the Fa at the Meeting with Asia-Pacific Students”,
“Even if the sky were to fall, a cultivator's righteous thoughts would stay unshaken--that is cultivation, and that is remarkable. A cultivator is not attached to anything in this world.”
Although I understand the meaning of this sentence, I am unable to achieve it in reality. With this thought in my mind, I walked into a vegetable market.
When I bought vegetables from one vendor, I clarified the facts to him and encouraged him to withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). I then took the vegetables and headed home. Shortly afterward, I noticed that a person was following me. I thought to myself, “I should keep walking. I can't be afraid. Fear is of no use.” I then ran to a park and sat down on a bench. He followed me closely and looked around.
I asked him, “Please sit down. Why are you following me? What are you doing?” He replied, “Sorry, but I would like to ask you for a favor. I know you are a Falun Gong practitioner because you talked about the CCP's persecution to a vendor. I wonder if you can help me to withdraw from the CCP!”
I replied, “If you are sincere, you can use any name – real name or nickname to withdraw from the CCP organizations.” He then told me the names of his four family members. After I wrote the names down, I asked him, “What else can I do for you?” He said, “I admire Master Li Hongzhi! I will give you another list of names tomorrow, so they can withdraw from the CCP organizations too.” I said, “Excellent. Let's meet here tomorrow.”
At 2:00 p.m. the next day, I went to the same location. He gave me a list with ten names of people who wanted to withdraw from the CCP organizations. I took the list and gave him ten good fortune charms and some information materials, one with the title “A Letter to Predestined People.”
He told me, “All these people are my relatives. I called them to ask them to withdraw from the CCP.” I said, “Great! I thank you for doing a wonderful thing for your relatives and wish you good fortune! Please recite 'Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance are good!' Heaven will bless you. That means you will be rewarded for your kind deeds.”
From this incident, I realized that Teacher has arranged for predestined people to come to me. If I am not diligent or have an attachment to fear, I could miss an opportunity to save sentient beings.
