(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 9 cities or counties in 8 provinces. In this report, 6 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 9 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Dongying City, Shandong Province] Ms. Yin Guizhi and Mr. Xu Zhenying Arrested

Ms. Yin Guizhi and Mr. Xu Zhenying were arrested after being reported to the police for speaking to people about Falun Gong on the afternoon of May 15, 2012. They have been detained in the Xianhe Town Police Station.

2.[Shuangliao City, Jilin Province] Mr. Yu Qingyuan Transferred to Brainwashing Center after Completing Prison Term

Mr. Yu Qingyuan completed his 4-year sentence in the Second Prison in Jilin Province on May 12, 2012. However, instead of being released, he was directly transferred to the Siping Brainwashing Center by Yang Su, head of the Shuangliao City 610 Office, and Quan Mingsheng, deputy chief of the Shuangliao Domestic Security Division.

3.[Miluo City, Hunan Province] Mr. Dai Qingping Arrested

Mr. Dai Qingping was arrested by officers from the Dajing Police Station on the evening of May 7, 2012.

4.[Yueyang City, Hunan Province] Ms. Fang Yue'e, Mr. Wu Xiaoming and Mr. Wang Huaizhu Detained

Ms. Fang Yue'e, Mr. Wu Xiaoming and Mr. Wang Huaizhu were arrested by local police and sent to the Meixi Township Police Station on the evening of May 10, 2012. They were interrogated and sent to the Hubin Detention Center.

5.[Huhhot City, Inner Mongolia ] Ms. Ma Xiuying Arrested; Home Ransacked

Ms. Ma Xiuying was arrested on her way home on May 13, 2012. Her house was ransacked on the same night.

6.[Jiaozhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Xue Xiumei and Mr. Kuang Benyu Arrested

Ms. Xue Xiumei (nearly 70 years of age) and Mr. Kuang Benyu were reported to the police when they talked to people about Falun Gong on May 14, 2012. They were arrested and taken to the Zhongyun Police Station. Mr. Kuang was released the same evening due to poor health.

 

7. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Mingfeng and Ms. Zhang Guizhi Detained and Transferred

Ms. Zhang Mingfeng was transferred from the Fengrun Detention Center to the Tangshan First Detention Center.

Ms. Zhang Guizhi was transferred from a local detention center to the Fengrun Detention Center.

8.[Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Yang Benliang and Mr. Lu Kaili Transferred to Prison

Mr. Yang Benliang was transferred from the Panjin Prison to the First Men's Prison in Shenyang City. Mr. Lu Kaili was transferred to the Jinzhou Prison.

9. [Shifang City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Zhou Yubao Arrested; Home Ransacked

Mr. Zhou Yubao was arrested when he talked to people about Falun Gong on May 15, 2012. His home was ransacked.
