(Minghui.org) On July 6, 2012, Wanli Police Station officers in Dalian Developing District arrested Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Xiao Chunling. After family members determined her location, they demanded her release, but some were subsequently held by police.

Her family first asked local officer Fu Mingwu, who also participated in the arrest, the whereabouts of Ms. Xiao. However, he replied in a bad tone and attitude that he had nothing to do with her arrest, and that they needed to take up the matter with Guo Lei.

Ms. Xiao's family asked Guo Lei, Squadron Leader for her location, but guards kept them waiting, stating that Guo Lei was conducting an interrogation. Over ten people were present in the hall, and Ms. Xiao's brother immediately exposed the lie: “After you made the arrest this morning, a team from this station attempted to raid the home with a blank warrant; when I discovered this, they fled, but returned later with a paper with my sister's name on it. What do you think you're doing?” Guo Lei denied the accusation. Another family member stated: “Xiao Chunling didn't commit any crime by practicing Falun Gong, and after ten years of persecution, everyone knows that Falun Dafa is good. They all know what Falun Gong is, so why do you still arrest practitioners? Let's ask all the citizens here, to hear their views of Falun Gong!” Guo Lei had no reply, so he used an excuse to leave the room.

As the family was leaving the police station's first floor, they discovered Ms. Xiao in one of the rooms. Her daughter began crying when she discovered where her mother was. One of the officers was video recording them, while another scolded her daughter and family, then told them to leave. A family member replied: “The child is looking for her mother - if you don't release her, we'll leave the child here!” The officer then moved Ms. Xiao to another room, placing her out of sight.

Later, her family discovered another door to enter, and found Ms. Xiao and her child holding each other tightly. Guo Lei and others came, yelling at them to get out. They pushed the family out the door.

Several officers pushed Ms. Xiao's brother out, knocking him to the ground, then held him down by his neck, handcuffed him and took him away. Her sister was also knocked down, injuring her knee; her mother was so upset that she fainted - all her children ran to her screaming and calling her. No station staff called for an ambulance, yet when the family asked the police to call the ambulance, they all walked away.

Her mother woke up a while later. One hour later, police station director Wang Changhong, Guo Lei and other staff took her brother and sister-in-law away. They were subsequently accused of “assaulting police officers”. Director Wang Changhong clamored: “Xiao Chunling is practicing Falun Gong, so she should be arrested.”
