(Minghui.org) About 1500 Falun Gong practitioners in Taiwan held a grand march to “Save the Kind, End the Persecution” on July 22, 2012 in Taipei. They displayed the wonderfulness of Falun Dafa, raised awareness about the crimes committed by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), and called on people to work together to stop the persecution.

The march began at 3:00 p.m. on July 22, with a procession so long that people couldn't see its end. It set off at Xinyi Square opposite Building 101, marched through the busy commercial district, and reached Chung Cheng Memorial Hall at 6:00 p.m. The Divine Land Marching Band, composed of 270 Falun Gong practitioners, took the lead. Behind it were huge models of Zhuan Falun in more than 30 languages, and then were banners conveying messages that Falun Dafa has spread to more than 100 countries. There were also an exercise demonstration team, a flag and drum team, waist drum team, displays exposing the CCP's persecution and supporting 120 million Chinese people quitting the CCP and its affiliated organizations. People along the route were drawn to watch this spectacular scene.
Mr. Wen and his son walked over to the practitioners to show their support. Mr. Wen asked, “What can I do for you?” Practitioners told them that the CCP has extended the persecution to Taiwan. Mr. Chung Ting-pang was illegally detained by the CCP state security agents when he visited relatives in China. One month has passed, and his family is still unable to go to visit him or make phone call to him. His life is in danger. “We hope you will sign the petition to call for an immediate release of Mr. Chung” said a practitioner. The father and son signed their names right away, and said, “We support you!”

When the procession marched through another tourist site--Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, they met with another large group of Chinese tourists. Many of them took photos. A tourist from Guangdong Province kept taking photos and commented, “Quite unusual!”
People Expect the Persecution Will End Soon
Many people passed by the candlelight vigil venue, and stopped to show their concerns.
A Taipei citizen, Amy, said that she once read online reports and saw movies about the CCP harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners, and it is actually truly happening. “Falun Gong practitioners stand up to help people learn the truth, they are saving people. Your efforts are remarkable. Thank you for letting me know the true situation,” said Amy in tears.
San from Germany attentively viewed the display boards, and asked a practitioner about Falun Gong. He learned that practitioners have been subjected to inhuman persecution, and even had their organs harvested when they were alive. These people only want to be better persons. Regarding the CCP's terror and evil, he said, “It's what I hate the most.” He said he is looking forward to seeing the persecution end soon.

Ms. Han said she was moved after watching the march. It made her want to cry. She felt that such a good practice should be promoted. She said she wanted to learn Falun Gong. A practitioner told her that Falun Gong is taught voluntarily without charge, and she can find a practice site close to her home and attend a Falun Gong Nine-Day Study Session. Ms. Han thanked the practitioner and joyously left.
