(Minghui.org) Ms. Zhang Yisu from Beijing was arrested by about seven police officers when she returned home after work around 8 p.m. on June 8, 2012. They arrested her because she allowed Mr. Cao Dong to stay at her home. Mr. Cao, a Falun Gong practitioner who graduated from Beijing Foreign Studies University, met with the Vice Chairman of the European Parliament in 2006 to discuss the persecution that he, his wife, and his fellow practitioners had been subjected to. Shortly afterwards, he was arrested by the CCP and sentenced to five years in prison.

One of the officers claimed that he was the chief of Andingmen Police Station. He pointed to Mr. Cao and asked Ms. Zhang, “Who is he? Why do you allow him to stay in your house? Give me what I want, or I will confiscate everything!” After they ransacked her home, the police took Mr Cao, Ms. Zhang, and Ms. Zhang's mother to the police station. They were interrogated separately. They asked her mother, “Don't you know who he is? How dare you let him stay in your home!” Her mother replied, “I only know that he is a friend. He is looking for a place to live and wanted to stay in our home for a few days. He will leave as soon as he finds a place.”

Ms. Zhang and Mr. Cao were then held in the Dongcheng Police Department detention center. Andingmen Police Station sent a notice of “criminal detention” to Ms. Zhang's mother and forced her to sign it. On June 20, Mr. Cao's mother received a notice of criminal detention for her son.

Ms. Zhang Yisu, 41, is simple, honest, and kind. She was a chef at the Jinglun Hotel in Beijing. After practicing Falun Dafa, all her sicknesses were cured. She followed Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance to guide her life. She worked hard and never fought for personal benefits or took advantage of others. Her boss was very pleased with her. Since she always thought of others and was always glad to help, her colleagues really liked to spend time with her.

In March 2005, Ms. Zhang was sentenced to Beijing Women's Forced Labor Camp. In the camp, she was pressured to give up her belief in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and to follow the CCP's “Lies, Cruelty, and Violence.” She was deprived of sleep, not allowed to use the restroom when needed, physically tortured, made to do slave labor, and forced to write “reformed” sharing reports. She was tortured physically and mentally in the camp.

After she was released in 2006, Jinglun Hotel fired her for no reason. Since her identification document from Andingmen Police Station showed that she had been jailed in a forced labor camp for practicing Falun Gong, she could not find a regular full time job and had to take part time jobs. Currently, she works as a sales person in a clothing store.

Six years ago, Vice Chairman Edward McMillan-Scott of the European Parliament came to Beijing to find out if basic human rights were being properly protected in China. Despite extreme pressure from CCP, two Falun Gong practitioners, Mr. Cao Dong and Mr. Niu Jinping, met with Mr. McMillan-Scott in Beijing. Mr. Cao told him that his wife was imprisoned and being tortured in a forced labor camp. In addition, they revealed the CCP's heinous crime of harvesting hundreds of thousands of organs from living Falun Gong practitioners for profit. Two hours after their meeting, Mr. Cao was arrested on his way home by police officers from the Domestic Security Department of Beijing City, and detained in Beijing for more than three months. After that, he was transferred back to Gansu Province and sentenced to five years in prison. His wife, Ms. Yang Xiaojing, passed away on October 1, 2009, after being persecuted in forced labor camps many times. Mr. Cao was released from the prison on September 28, 2011. He came to Beijing to bury his wife and tried to find a job.

Just because she helped a friend in need, Ms. Zhang was arrested. Her 70-year-old mother was interrogated and harassed, such that her blood pressure shot up. She is now worried about her daughter's safety. We call on all people of conscience for help in rescuing Ms. Zhang.
