(Minghui.org) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 23 cities or counties in 11 provinces. In this report, 25 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention and at least 32 practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Ningming County, Guangxi Autonomous Region] Mr. Liao Wenchuang Arrested
Mr. Liao Wenchuang, 40, a Falun Gong practitioner from Ningming County, was arrested on September 10, 2011. He's been detained in Pingxiang City Detention Center. Mr. Liao was previously arrested in October 2005 in Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province, and was sentenced to three years in prison.
2. [Yinchuan, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region] Additional Information on the Arrest of Mr. Li Jinning and Four Other Practitioners
Mr. Li Jinning and four other Falun Gong practitioners, from Yinchuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, were arrested in a practitioner's home by officers from the Yinchuan Police Department and the Anbao Police Station in the afternoon on March 9, 2012. They were taken to the Security Division. Around 10:00 p.m, that night, 4 other practitioners who are over 60 years old were released. However, Mr. Li continues to be held in Yinchuan City Detention Center.
3. [Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Liang Li Arrested
Ms. Liang Li, a Falun Gong practitioner from Zhuhai City, was arrested on the morning of April 10, 2012 while she was handing pedestrians materials to clarify the truth. Ms. Liang has been held in Sanshui City Forced Labor Camp.
4. [Gaobeidian City, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhang Deming Incarcerated for Three More Years
On March 10, 2008, Gaobeidian City Police Department, Domestic Security Division, and Public Security Division dispatched eight police cars filled with officers to surround Mr. Zhang Deming's home. They arrested him. Mr. Zhang is now incarcerated in Jidong Prison of Fengnan District, Tangshan City. On February 13, 2009, Mr. Zhang was illegally sentenced to six years in prison by Gaobeidian City Court.
5. [Jiaozuo City, Henan Province] Ms. Qiao Jian Arrested
Ms. Qiao Jian, 68, a Falun Gong practitioner from Jiaozuo City, was arrested and taken to Jiaozuo City Detention Center on March 15, 2012, after she was handing out truth clarification materials in a shopping mall.

6. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Mr. Mao Jiangxin Arrested
Mr. Mao Jiangxin, a Falun Gong practitioner from Zibo City, was arrested by the Qidu Town Police Department on April 5, 2012. He's now detained in Zibo City Detention Center.
7. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Sun Shulan Arrested by Plainclothes Police Officers on April 10 While She Was Handing Out Shen Yun DVDs.
8. [Jiujiang County, Jiangxi Province] Additional Information on the Arrest of Ms. Tian Haiying
Ms. Tian Haiying was arrested on the morning of April 7, 2012. In the afternoon, she was sent to Ruichang Detention Center by Wang Yijing, captain of Domestic Security Division of Jiujiang County Police Department.
9. [Tang County, Hebei Province] Ms. Xu Shengqin and Ms. Zhang Jianxing Arrested
Ms. Xu Shengqin, a Falun Gong practitioner from Donglianyi Village, Wangjing Town, Tang County, was reported while she was clarifying the truth on April 8, 2012 in Dongheibao Village Market, Wangdu County. She was arrested and taken to Wangdu County Detention Center by the police from the Heibao Township Police Station.
In the morning on April 10, 2012, Tang County Domestic Security Division colluded with the Wangjing Town Police Station and some village cadres from Donglianyi Village. The consortium broke into Ms. Zhang Jianxing's home and arrested her, confiscating her laptop, printer, DVD burner, and paper, among many other personal items. Ms. Zhang was then arrested and taken to Tang County Detention Center.
10. [Chengde City, Hebei Province] Additional Information on the Arrest of Ms. Jiang Yuhuan and Ms. Liu Xiaoli
Ms. Liu Xiaoli, a Falun Gong practitioner from Chengde City being held in a detention center, went on a hunger strike on April 4, 2012. She was sent to Chengde City Central Hospital, then brought home by her family. She is now recovering at home.
Ms. Jiang Yuhuan, who was arrested the same time as Ms. Liu Xiaoli, is still held in the detention center.
11. [Chongqing City] Falun Gong Practitioners Incarcerated in Chongqing Women's Prison
Ms. Zuo Hui, Ms. Zhang Dabi, Ms. Li Yulian, and Ms. Kuang Mingying have been sentenced to seven years and a half in prison; Ms. Fu Yanxia has been sentenced to ten years in prison. They are detained in the Second Prison District.
Ms. Tang Wanxiu, Ms. Wang Xiuying, and Ms. Luo Taiqing have been sentenced to five years in prison; Ms. Liu Shiying has been sentenced to nine years in prison; Ms. Zhang Zhishu and Ms. Chen Jixiu have been sentenced to three years in prison. They are detained in the Fourth Prison District.
Ms. Zhong Chuanhui has been sentenced to four year and a half years in prison, and is detained in the Third Prison District.
12. [Qi County, Shanxi Province] Mr. Dong Ming Arrested
Mr. Dong Ming, 47, is from Chengguan Town, Qi County, Jinzhong City, Shanxi Province. He was arrested from his work unit on the morning of March 26, 2012 by police officers from the 610 Office. They ransacked his home in the afternoon, confiscating Falun Gong lecture books and materials to clarify the truth. His DVD burner was confiscated from his work unit the next day. Mr. Dong Ming is now detained in Qi County Detention Center.

14. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Mr. Liu Dechun Arrested
Mr. Liu Dechun, a Falun Gong practitioner from Xiaoliujiatuan Village, Jiaoxi Town, Jiaozhou City, Qingdao City, was reported while he was clarifying the truth, and was arrested at home in the early morning on April 21, 2012 by the Jiaoxi Town Police Station. He is now detained in the Jiaoxi Town Police Station.

15. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Additional Information on the Arrest of Ms. Ding Shuxin
Ms. Ding Shuxin, 57, is a Falun Gong practitioner from Qingdao City. She was arrested by the Liaoyuan Road Police Station of Shibei District on the morning of March 9, 2012 while she was distributing Shen Yun DVDs in the Cuobuling Residential Area. She was later detained in Dashan Third Detention Center. Now Ms. Ding is sentenced to one year in forced labor camp, and has been transferred to a forced labor camp in Jinan City.
16. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Ms. Xing Yan and Another Practitioner Arrested
Ms. Xing Yan, a Falun Gong practitioner from Baoding City, and another practitioner were arrested in the morning on April 10, 2012 by police officers from the Hancun Road Police Station while they were clarifying the truth and handing out related materials. In the afternoon, four police officers from the station ransacked Ms. Xing Yan's home, confiscating her computer and printer. The two practitioners are now detained in the Hancun Road Police Station
17. [Qinghuangdao City, Hebei Province] Ms. Li Jinmei and Ms. Chu Arrested
Ms. Li Jinmei and Ms. Chu, employees of Shanhaiguan Shipyard, were arrested by the officers from the Zhongxin Police Station on April 8, 2012.Their current whereabouts are unknown.

18. [Wulian County, Shandong Province] Ms. Ma Arrested
Ms. Ma, in her 40s, from Yanjia Village, Kouguan Town, Wulian County, was arrested to the Dongguan Police Station of Wulian County on April 11, 2012.
19. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Ms. Wu Guohui Severely Persecuted in Hohhot City Women's Prison
Ms. Wu Guohui, a Falun Gong practitioner from Bairin Banner, Chifeng City, has been severely persecuted in Hohhot City Women's Prison—the tortures include electric shock, pulling out hair, and beating. She then had symptoms of heart attack and anemia and was held in Inner Mongolia Prison Management No. 1 Hospital. Now Ms. Wu has symptoms of uterine cancer. Her family's request to release her, was rejected by the prosecutor of Hohhot City Women's Prison.
20. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Mr. Wang Falin Arrested
Mr. Wang Falin, headmaster of Xujia Village Primary School of Gaoli Town, Hanting District, Weifang City, was arrested at school on April 11, 2012 by the Shuangyang Police Station. Her computer was then confiscated.
21. [Gaozhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Ruan Jieling Arrested
Ms. Ruan Jieling was arrested from her home in the afternoon of April 10, 2012, by personnel from the 610 Office of Gaozhou City and the Domestic Security Division.

22. [Longkou City, Shandong Province] Thirteen Falun Gong Practitioners Arrested
On April 11, 2012, Domestic Security Division of Longkou City, colluding with the Longkou City Police Station and the Longkou City Police Department, arrested many Falun Gong practitioners, including: Ms. Mu, Ms. Liu, Ms. Zhuang Shuhua, Mr. Wang and his wife, Ms. Sui, Ms. Miao and her daughter, Ms. Yuan, Ms. Yang, Mr. Tang Zhulong, and Mr. Jiang and his wife.

23. [Lanzhou City, Gansu Province] Mr. Zhi Jianxin's Home Ransacked
Mr. Zhi Jianxin, a Falun Gong practitioner living in Provincial Party School, was arrested at home on April 9, 2012 by the police from Anning District Police Department of Gansu Province. They confiscated property worth tens of thousands of yuan, including his computer.
24. [Chongqing] Additional Information on the Arrest of Ms. Qin Yulan
On April 5, 2012, Ms. Qin Yulan was trailed by people from Chongqing Yuejin Machinery Plant on her way to Wenfeng Tower to clarify the truth. She was arrested at home the next day by some officers from her community, security guards from Yuejin Machinery Plant, and police officers from a Police Department, and sent to Chongqing Forced Labor Camp.
25. [Guiyang City, Guizhou Province] Ms. Zhou Xinhui and Ms. Lang Dafen Arrested
Ms. Zhou Xinhui and Ms. Lang Dafen, Falun Gong practitioners from Guiyang City, were reported on April 1, 2012 for speaking with people about Falun Gong. They were later arrested and taken to the Baihuashan Detention Center.
