(Minghui.org) Two police officers from the Mingcheng Township Police Station in Panshi City, Jilin Province colluded this past April to send a woman to a forced labor camp. They are principal officer Liu Zhenxia (male, about 30), and residential officer Li Xiaoshan (female). On April 26, 2012, the two of them arrested Falun Dafa practitioner Qu Yuling, and took her to the Jilin City Detention Center. They attempted to send her to a forced labor camp, but could not do so without her passing a physical exam. So they spent the next week trying to bribe doctors and obtaining fake physical reports. More information is listed below:

Ms. Qu Yuling, 55 years old, is a retiree from Baokang Township, Tongliao City, Inner Mongolia. Before practicing Falun Gong, she had many illnesses, notably severe near-sightedness with high myopia of over 800 degrees. The glasses she was required to wear put so much pressure on her nose that it eventually became deformed, and also created a thick layer of skin behind her ears. Her eyes often hurt and she would wake up at night due the pain. She went to the local hospitals to help alleviate her condition, but none of them could help. She spent a lot of money and became almost bankrupt. It was in this state of poor health, a state that made her feel like she was waiting to die, that she began practicing Falun Dafa. After practicing for three months, all of her illnesses were gone without any treatment.

On April 24, 2012, Ms. Qu and another practitioner, Ms. Tan Yufen, went to the Mingcheng Township Government to ask for Tan's salary, and they clarified the facts while they were there. Police officer Li Xiaoshan, Liu Zhenxia and several other policemen illegally arrested them and sent them to Mingcheng Township Police Station. The two officers Li Xiaoshan and Liu Zhenxia forcibly held Qu Yuling's hand down in order to have her fingerprints taken.

Liu Zhenxia insulted and taunted Ms. Qu with comments like, “Who has persecuted you people? Who is harvesting your organs? I brutally beat another Falun Gong practitioner and he did not even say a word.”

They then transferred Qu to the Panshi City 610 Office. They falsely charged Qu Yuling and interrogated her, sending her back to the police station that evening. Li Xiaoshan gave Ms. Qu a bag containing bread and some sausage, which she ate. Half an hour later, she began to have a painful stomachache. A short time later, she fell to the floor. When Ms. Qu took the leftover bread to Jilin City Detention Center, a female criminal took the bread and gave it to a dog. She said, “This bread has long gone bad. Why did you eat it?” Qu then realized that she had food poisoning, deliberately caused by officer Li.

Ms. Qu was taken to Jilin Detention Center by the two officers on April 26. The detention center would not accept her without a physical exam. So they took her to the outpatients clinic in Jilin City. Upon arriving, Li Xiaoshan sarcastically told the doctor in his 60s, “A Falun Gong practitioner needs a physical checkup!” Li bribed the doctor into having Ms. Qu pass her physical exam, and the doctor simply went through the motions. After an hour, they had written a false physical exam report, and Ms. Qu was sent back to Jilin City Detention Center. Liu Zhenxia proudly said, “Today everything went so smoothly. All due to the help of Li Xiaoshan.” Ms. Qu was detained for 15 days.

On May 7, an agent from the Panshi City 610 Office, a young police officer, and Liu Zhenxia, took Qu Yuling to Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp in Changchun City. They lied to Qu Yuling, saying that they were going to send her home. They also deceived her by saying, “Your nephew will come to see you.” When they arrived, she was required to have another physical exam. The officers lied to the labor camp doctor, “We gave Qu Yuling a physical exam from 10:00 a.m. in the morning to 4:00 p.m. in the afternoon.” Liu Zhenxia was asked to produce the physical exam report, but he did not have anything. So the doctor went ahead with the exam. X-rays were taken, and Ms. Qu appeared to have a problem in her lungs and chest. They also discovered that her vision was quite poor, and the forced labor camp refused to accept her. But the Panshi City police did not give up. They took Qu to the Sino-Japan Friendship Hospital in Changchun for another physical. The hospital was so busy that there was no way the officers could pressure one of the doctors into giving a false test. The results ended up being the same as the ones at the forced labor camp.
