(Minghui.org) I was fortunate to start practicing Falun Dafa in 1993. Before that, I had heart disease, stomach problems, arthritis, low blood pressure, hemorrhoids and some other health problems. After one month of practicing Falun Dafa, all of the diseases disappeared.
I used to frequently quarrel with my husband and we had even talked about getting a divorce. After I practiced Falun Dafa for about half a month, my husband also became a practitioner and our family became harmonious. Guided by the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, my family became more harmonious than ever. My relatives and friends said that it was Falun Dafa that saved my family.
Thinking of Others and Being Kind at All Times
The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) persecuted my family in 2003, but I successfully overcame all difficulties with the protection of Master Li. My husband was fired from his workplace for his faith. We had little income from my small business. My relatives were influenced by the CCP propaganda and blamed us. They tried to persuade us to give up practicing Falun Dafa, so that my husband could go back to work. However, my husband and I did not listen to them, no matter what they said or did. I kept working in my small business, and my husband went into hiding in other cities. At that time, we were in debt for about 40,000 yuan.
If I were an everyday person, it would have been very hard for me to live under such pressure. But, I am a practitioner of Falun Dafa; I didn't succumb to the persecution.
I remembered a sentence from “Just a Play”in Hong Yin, “Everything through the ages, came about for the Fa.” I thought: “Everything was created for Dafa. I am a practitioner. How could I lack income and luck? What's more important, I need to have an income to save more people. Master Li has arranged the best for me. I will prove to the world that good people get good rewards.”
I felt that Master was helping me, because I was not distracted by human difficulties. During that time, everything went just as I had envisioned. I set up my factory as I wanted. Master arranged for a person to come and help me even before I searched for one. As I was trying to design a new product, I got the image immediately in my mind. Retailers from all over China called me even before I tried to find a market to sell my products. I didn't even need to advertise. All of this happened just like it was arranged by the divine. Afterward, several other people in my town started the same type of business; what I had started was a first of its kind in my area. I gave these entrepreneurs technical guidance and information without charging for it. Sometimes they also bought products from me.
Once, I was interviewed by the local women's association. I was asked to talk about the experience of starting a business and how I had led other women to wealth. They also wanted me to give a lecture at the association's meeting. I spoke of my experience as it was: “Because I learned Falun Dafa, I could not kill or harm anything or anyone, so I chose this particular type of industry. I didn't find it difficult to start a business because I did everything according to the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, and everything went well. My helping other business owners was also in line with these principles.” The interviewer asked, “You could do this even if you did not practice Falun Dafa, couldn't you?” I replied that I could not. I said: “Every person has selfishness. Only when guided by the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance could a person be altruistic and unselfish.” The interviewer didn't reply and just left, indicating by this action that I would not be allowed to give that lecture. However, I had validated Falun Dafa.
I meet many types of people, but I always take the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance as my guide. I am honest and think of others' needs first. I'm also kind in all circumstances, which has been part of my negating economic persecution arranged by the old forces. Now, many people say that it is Falun Dafa that has brought me luck, because I've earned the most among the people in the same industry. I not only repaid all my debt, but have also gotten an annual income of about one million yuan, which is very rare in my area.
Saving Abandoned Baby and Helping People Learn the Facts
On May 10, 2002, an abandoned baby girl was found just outside our village. On that day, there was an acrobatics performance in the village, so many more people heard this news on public media channels. Several people who had no children went to the place, but no one wanted to take the girl home once they saw her, because there was a large tumor on her head and her face was yellow. She was not a healthy baby, so nobody wanted to raise her.
My younger brother told me about this when he returned home. I suggested for my mother to take her home since she is a doctor. My mother happened to come home right at that time. She suggested to check the baby with a stethoscope to see if she had any heart disease. I reminded my family that we are Falun Dafa practitioners, so we should save the baby anyway, as we would fail to show compassion if we did not. My mother agreed, so we took the baby home.
There was a crowd of people at my home at that time. During that period, there was a rumor spread by the CCP that Falun Dafa practitioners poisoned food. Thus, nobody dared to pick up the leftovers at our home. The school even told students not to drink water from the wells in case they were poisoned. But after this incident, people understood that practitioners would not harm anyone. They understood that what they had heard were false rumors, and that Falun Dafa practitioners try to do good things.
We took care of the baby and it became healthy. Although my mother was a doctor, the baby was too sick to be healed by normal medical means. We asked Master for help. It is Master Li who healed this baby. The girl’s parents wanted to get their baby back after they heard that she was healthy. Previously, they had taken her to the hospital, where doctors told them that the probability her being healed was very low. As they did not have enough money for medical expenses, they abandoned the baby. On the day the parents came for the baby, many people from our village came to our house. Some of them suggested that we should make the parents pay us for our efforts. However, we told them that we saved the baby because we practice Falun Dafa. We were not out for money and would not charge anything.
After that, we saved a girl who was mentally ill from freezing to death. We also helped a deaf middle-aged person who fell down at the roadside. People in China don't usually dare to help people nowadays, as they worry about being blackmailed or harmed. However, Falun Dafa practitioners still help and save people. Through these incidents, people got to know that Falun Dafa is good.
Villagers Witness a Miracle and Praise Falun Dafa
In 2009, we were building our factory workshop. One day during the construction, one of my relatives was hit by the electricity emitted from high-voltage lines. At that time, his body was stiff and there was blue smoke and the burning smell of flesh. When he was about to be tangled up by the high-voltage lines, he slid down the roof and fell to the ground. People cried out in panic. The man vomited and his face turned blue. He was trembling, his pupils dilated and his eyes remained in a fixed stare. He was thought to be dead.
My younger brother yelled to him, “Repeat ‘Falun Dafa is good’!” I knelt down and asked Master for help. I believed with all my heart that Master would do so. There was another practitioner with me keeping righteous thoughts. My mother also shouted, “Master, please help!” People in the crowd said: “This old lady must be silly. This person is going to die, and she’s calling her Master. Nobody can help now.”
However, after a few minutes, the man regained consciousness, his pupils were back to normal, and he could speak.
After one hour, the ambulance came and he was taken to the hospital. After the ambulance left, many villagers discussed this incident and thought that this man would not make it. One of the neighbors worried about us and called the power plant to ask whether the man had a chance to come through this. The answer was no.
The injured received a complete medical checkup, which took until about 10 p.m. The report showed no abnormalities; there was no sign of him being hit at all, and he did not need to stay at the hospital. We asked the internal and surgical departments, and both confirmed that there was no need to keep him at the hospital. He did not need any medication either.
When we returned to the village, people came to visit us. They felt so happy for us after hearing the good news. Some said, “Keep believing in Falun Dafa! It is worthy.” Some also said, “It is your Master who saved him!” One villager told me, “People who were against Dafa are not against it anymore. People who did not believe in it before believe in it now, and people who believed in it, believe in it stronger!”
I want to thank Master Li for all the things given to us!
I experienced many miracles during the ten years I have practiced Falun Dafa. It is Master’s mercy that creates the environment to save people and shows the majesty and greatness of Dafa.
