Solemn Declaration
I am illiterate. I asked my daughter, a Falun Dafa practitioner, to write this declaration for me to express my profuse gratitude to Master Li for saving my family and my daughter's family. As an elderly person, nothing is more meaningful to me than the safety of my offspring. In the past, I was deceived by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and hated Falun Dafa. I often prevented my daughter from clarifying the facts about the practice and the persecution. After watching Shen Yun Performing Arts DVDs and videos explaining the facts about the Tiananmen self-immolation incident staged by the CCP and the April 25 Peaceful Appeal, which my daughter played for me a few days ago, as well as repeatedly listening to the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, I started to understand that Master Li saves lives and that Falun Dafa is good. The CCP is the real evil hoodlum intending to harm us. My whole family feels ashamed and asks for Master Li's forgiveness for our disrespectful remarks. We solemnly declare: “We will break away from the CCP. We will support Falun Dafa and support our daughter's cultivation. To make up for our errors, we will tell more people that Falun Dafa is good and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.”

Solemn Declaration
Before the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, officers from the township police station ransacked the house of my father-in-law, a Falun Dafa practitioner. They came to my house at midnight the same day and ordered me to report to the police station the next morning. The police director said: “You and your wife have to write a guarantee statement. If you do not cooperate, your father-in-law will be sent to the detention center and your child's college scholarship will be denied.” He also threatened that we would be held accountable if my father-in-law went to Beijing to appeal for the right to practice Falun Dafa. Because of fear, we signed the guarantee statement and handed in my wife's ID card as a guarantee. At the end of 2011, my father-in-law was ordered by the village cadres to sign another guarantee statement. They threatened that he would lose his monthly governmental subsidy if he refused. My father-in-law did not sign the statement, but the cadres then forced my wife and I to sign it. Thus, we made another serious mistake for a small monetary benefit. We understand that Falun Dafa is righteous. We solemnly declare: “Everything we have done that is against Master Li and Dafa is null and void. We believe that Falun Dafa is good. To make up for our mistakes, we will support Falun Dafa.”
