Solemn Declaration

I started practicing Falun Dafa in 1996. After the persecution began on July 20, 1999, I had serious fear, especially after my wife was illegally arrested for distributing informational materials about Falun Dafa. As a result, I went over to the opposite side. I not only gave up cultivation, but also doubted Master and Dafa and made harmful remarks toward them. When a practitioner mentioned that he was helping former practitioners resume cultivation after the New Year's Day of 2011, I realized that Master had not left behind even unworthy disciples like me. Later I participated in a group Fa study and through it further regained clarity. I have deep regret for my past errors. I'm determined to change myself fundamentally and remove my human notions and attachments. I solemnly declare: “Everything I have done that was against Dafa principles is null and void. I will eliminate all incorrect notions, rectify myself in Dafa and firmly cultivate myself to the end. I'll do the three things well and go back home with Master.”

Solemn Declaration

I started practicing Falun Gong before 1999. One day in early 2010, I was reported to the local police for clarifying the facts about the practice and the persecution. After that, I was held in a detention center and a brainwashing center for more than a year. Due to huge pressure from the Chinese Communist Party and my family, as well as my attachment to sentimentality, I unwillingly wrote the guarantee statement, promising to stop practicing Falun Gong. I also released the name of a fellow practitioner and disgraced Dafa, making a serious stain on my cultivation path. I have deep regret and feel unworthy of Master's benevolent salvation. I solemnly declare: “Everything I have done under pressure that does not comply with the requirements of Dafa is null and void. I will cultivate steadfastly and improve myself diligently. I will work harder to do the three things well and make up for the damage I caused to Dafa.”
