(Minghui.org) Mr. Lu Jiajun is a high school teacher who is held in high regard by those who know him. He is known for his uprightness, kindness and responsibility. However because he remains steadfast in his belief in Falun Gong, he has been harassed many times by officers from the local political and legal committee. He was arrested and taken to a brainwashing center on May 15, 2012.

 
Wangjiang High School

Mr. Lu Jiajun is a teacher at Wangjiang High School in a Jiamusi City suburb. He was fair and impartial while he was in charge of sanitary inspection. In his spare time, he often cleaned up the debris on the playground and burned the garbage in the trash every day. He also bought tools needed for work with his own money. He made more than 30 snow shovels for the classes, solving the problem of the lack of tools to clean up snow in winter. During meetings, school officials called upon everyone to learn from Mr. Lu.

Mr. Lu once suffered from many illnesses, such as coronary heart disease, cholecystitis, gastritis, and nervous breakdown, to name a few. In his own words, when he was ill, it was a real struggle just to live. He was introduced to Falun Gong by a coincidental opportunity. Unexpectedly, after he began practicing, all his illnesses disappeared. Before becoming a practitioner, he hadn't experienced the feeling of being free of illnesses for decades.

After the CCP started the persecution of Falun Gong in July 1999, officers from the Jiamusi City Suburb Political and Legal Committee and Wangjiang Police Station harassed Mr. Lu at his school numerous times because he remained steadfast in his belief in Falun Gong.

On March 23, 2010, officers from the Jiamusi City Suburb Domestic Security Division led by police officer Song Cheng went to Wangjiang High School to arrest Mr. Lu and take him to the police station. Around October 25, 2011, these officers made another attempt to persecute Mr. Lu.

Around 9:00 a.m. on May 8, 2012, Mr. Lu was working in his office when school Party secretary Tan Guojun came to tell him that the officials from the Political and Legal Committee wanted to talk with him. Tan and another teacher, Song Zhiyong, drove Mr. Lu to the town government building. Only then did they tell Mr. Lu that they were sending him to a “Study Center,” which was actually a brainwashing facility where the CCP persecutes Falun Gong practitioners. Mr. Lu realized that he had been deceived and firmly refused to comply with them.

Mr. Lu tightly grabbed an iron pipe fastened to the side of a bed. An officer tried hard to pull him away, but failed to do so. He then threatened to carry away the entire bed together with Mr. Lu. Mr. Lu firmly resisted. The officer then called for officers Song Cheng and Gao Xuye from the Wangjiang Police Station. Song and others tore Mr. Lu's hands away from the iron pipe. Tan Guojun from Wanjiang High School pulled Mr. Lu's arms around to his back. Mr. Lu shouted, “What you are doing is the same as the criminal acts of bandits and robbers! I follow Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance to be a better person, what's wrong with that?” The perpetrators stopped.

Officers from the Suburb Political and Legal Committee went again to Wangjiang High School around 7:00 a.m. on May 15. They forcibly took Mr. Lu to the brainwashing center with Tan Guojun's assistance.
