(Minghui.org) From May 12 to 13, 2012, Falun Gong practitioners in Poland held activities in downtown Warsaw, introducing Falun Gong to the public, to wish the great Master a happy birthday as well as to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of Falun Dafa’s public introduction and World Falun Dafa Day on May 13.

On May 13, practitioners first gathered at the park near the Chinese Embassy to do the exercises. Among them were western practitioners from cities in central Poland, as well as cities near Warsaw. There were new and veteran Chinese and Vietnamese practitioners from Warsaw and also people who came to learn Falun Gong.
After the morning exercises, practitioners staged a sit-in protest in front of the Chinese Embassy against the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)’s thirteen years of brutal persecution of Falun Gong. The activity caught the attention of passers-by. Two policewomen at the gate of the embassy approached practitioners to ask questions. Upon learning about the persecution, people were indignant. The same thing happened at the downtown event. People braved the rain to view the poster display. Many people signed the petition to protest the CCP’s atrocities.

At the downtown event, Falun Gong practitioners displayed a banner in Chinese and English, "May 13 World Falun Dafa Day.” Many people approached to learn more. Falun Gong practitioners told them about Falun Dafa’s popularity around the world, about how Falun Dafa improves people's morality and brings about physical health and spiritual well-being, social stability, and about World Falun Dafa Day. Many people expressed great interest.
Several groups of Chinese people passed by the event venue. Nowadays, Chinese people no longer shy away from Falun Gong banners like they did before when most of them had been deceived by the Communist regime's propaganda. Not only did they gather to watch, but they also took photos with Falun Gong poster exhibits or banner with words "World Falun Dafa Day" as the background. They took Falun Gong leaflets. Some also asked for more informational materials and the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party.
When passing a Chinese restaurant, a Falun Gong practitioner saw a bus full of teenage Chinese students in martial arts suits. After the practitioner gave them the few copies of a Falun Gong newspaper, they thanked him.
In the restaurant, several CCP officials from China were dining. When they saw the Falun Gong practitioner distributing newspapers, they stopped eating and began asking questions about Falun Gong. Starting from the CCP-staged Tiananmen Square self-immolation, the practitioner talked about how Jiang Zemin ordered the persecution of Falun Gong, and how the CCP’s Political and Legislative Affairs Committee systematically persecutes Falun Gong under the leadership of its former head Luo Gan and the incumbent head Zhou Yongkang. After hearing about this, two Chinese officials agreed to quit the CCP on the spot. The other Chinese officials had nothing to say in face of the facts. Before leaving, the practitioner asked them all to always remember that Falun Dafa is good, and that Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.
