(Minghui.org) May 13, 2012 marks World Falun Dafa Day. Practitioners on Saipan Island held a parade of decorated cars around the island to celebrate this special occasion, which is also the 20th anniversary of Falun Dafa's public introduction and compassionate Master's 61st birthday.

In the morning, twelve cars beautifully decorated with balloons, flowers, ribbons and banners lined up in American Memorial Park on Saipan Island. The decorations and banners bearing messages such as “Respectfully Wishing Revered Master a Happy Birthday,” “Celebrating World Falun Dafa Day,” and “Falun Dafa Is Good,” displayed the beauty of Falun Dafa and expressed practitioners' gratitude for revered Master's compassionate and arduous salvation.
The decorated cars set off from the entrance to the American Memorial Park, and headed north to tourist attractions. Police cars initially helped direct the traffic. All the way, music composed by practitioners such as “Falun Dafa Is Good” and “Flying Falun” was played. Upon reaching the scenic spot Banzai Cliff, the cars stopped, and practitioners began demonstrating the Falun Gong exercises to the tourists.
When Chinese tourists arrived, practitioners played truth clarification broadcasts, and practitioners dressed as celestial maidens handed out informational materials to the tourists. Some tourists accepted the materials and thanked the practitioners. Others took photos of the practitioners' exercises and decorated cars.
After completing the activities at the tourist spot, practitioners drove the decorated cars on the same route back. At a busy intersection, practitioners stood along the sidewalk, holding banners reading “May 13 World Falun Dafa Day,” “Falun Dafa Is Good,” and “The Worlds Needs Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.” They waved to vehicles passing by. Drivers honked their horns, smiled and waved back to express their support.
Practitioners had an interview with a journalist from Marianas Variety Newspaper, and told him about the purpose of the activity, and the facts about Falun Gong and the persecution in China. They also told the journalist that people in more than 100 countries have learned and practiced Falun Gong, and on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Falun Dafa's public introduction, they hope that more people will learn the facts so that the CCP's persecution of practitioners in China will end soon.
