(Minghui.org) May 5 and 6, 2012, Ukrainian Falun Gong Practitioners attended “City Day” celebrations in two western cities, Ivano-Frankivsk and Lviv. Practitioners told the local people the facts about Falun Gong and raised their awareness of the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution. They also handed out Falun Gong newspapers and paper lotus flowers with well wishes.

Historically, because Ukraine as a nation also endured brutal persecution by the communist party, the locals have always held a deep-seated hatred of communism. When they heard about the CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong practitioners, they expressed their utter condemnation. Historically, communism has always been against belief in anything except itself, and this is true even today. After people read the truth-clarification newspaper Falun Gong practitioners were handing out, they signed the petition to condemn the CCP’s persecution of belief in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.
People saw how polite and respectful Dafa disciples were and immediately wanted to learn Falun Gong. When children saw practitioners doing the exercises, they stood beside them and imitated what they saw. When the practitioners sat down to cross their legs to meditate, the children followed along and sat down. Some could double cross their legs, but others could only do single-leg-cross.
At the end of the City Day celebrations, when practitioners were about to leave, they saw two rainbows on the horizon.
