(Minghui.org) After a practitioner’s article “The Evils' Last Mad Attempt In Other Dimensions” was published on the Minghui website on April 8, 2012, it was also posted on our local sharing site the same day, and a notice was sent out for practitioners to try and read it. Several comments soon came out suggesting that we had forgotten to proactively take action to eliminate the old forces and assist Teacher in rectifying the Fa and saving sentient beings. Haven’t we learned from the Fa that a practitioner’s righteous thoughts should not be moved even if the sky were to fall? Where have our righteous thoughts gone at this moment?”
Everything that happens and any situation that arises is a test of each practitioner's xinxing. Every incident that occurs targets the attachments that we still haven’t gotten rid of. So whenever something happens, it is to see how practitioners view the situation and react to it. If we can handle everything in accordance with the Fa, not insist on our own human notions, and proactively cooperate with other practitioners, what excuse will the old forces have to persecute us?
Teacher has given us the formula for sending forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the old forces' interference, and we have all learned to do everything in accordance with the Fa. Moreover, we all know that our purpose is to assist Teacher in rectifying the Fa and that we are sentient beings' only hope for salvation. Each practitioner is watched over by many guardian gods, and any being will face elimination if it tries to interfere with us. The old forces' persecution is not acknowledged by Teacher and it is to be eliminated by history. Then, how could we acknowledge any of the old forces' arrangements? If a relatively large number of practitioners don’t understand this issue, it can have negative consequences.
It is okay to expose our attachments as long as we use the opportunity to immediately eliminate them. But, if we don’t get rid of them, and instead let them control us, that’s not a practitioner’s righteous action. If our righteous thoughts are solid like diamond, a single thought will be enough to eliminate the old forces.
When the Wang Lijun incident and the stories around Bo Xilai first hit the headlines, were we moved by it? Did we forget what we were doing? With human hearts, some practitioners showed their attachments to the changes taking place in the human world. There was also hope that someone would speak out to stop the persecution of Falun Gong and that our cultivation environment will be changed by it. How strong was this human thought? We have been through many trials and tribulations over the years, and we need to mature. We are the only hope for the future sentient beings. Everything will change in accordance with our cultivation. How can we expect everyday people to do something for us? If we all think this way, the old forces will use these strong attachments to persecute us even more.
If we all had firm righteous thoughts, the old forces would not be this rampant and the persecution against Falun Gong would not be so harsh. Actually, the Wang Lijun incident and the demise of Bo Xilai is a phenomenon during the progression of Fa-rectification and is merely retribution taking place. If we had gotten rid of our human notions earlier, this kind of thing might have happened sooner. But due to our strong human attachments, our attachments are still affected by the changes taking place in the human world, and therefore the Fa-rectification process was slowed down. Master said:
“The other day I said that the Buddha-light illuminates everywhere and rectifies all abnormalities.” (Zhuan Falun)
We are cultivators walking on a divine path. Let's have our divine sides shine forth. Our most important mission is to assist Teacher to rectify the Fa. As long as each practitioner looks inward at this critical moment, truly gets rid of fear, lets go of selfishness and does the three things well, we can disintegrate any of the old forces' arrangements.
