Solemn Declaration
One morning in 1998, I saw many people practicing the Falun Gong exercises on the square. Knowing that practicing Falun Gong was good for one's health, I also participated a couple of times. I thought that Falun Gong was very good, especially after reading the books. However, before I became a true practitioner, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) started aggressively persecuting Falun Gong. Many practitioners were illegally arrested and severely tortured. Some of them were beaten to death and others had their families destroyed by the CCP. My daughter, who is a practitioner, was persecuted several times, frightening and upsetting the whole family. Because I was taken in by the slanderous lies propagated by the immoral CCP, because of my fear of the wicked Party, and due to worry over the safety of my family, I often blasphemed Master Li and Falun Dafa. Now I really am full of guilt and regret after having learned the truth about Dafa. I solemnly declare: “All the disrespectful things I have done and words I have said against Dafa are null and void. To make up for my mistakes, I will tell everyone that Falun Dafa is good.”

Solemn Declaration
My son was illegally arrested twice for practicing Falun Gong between 2003 and 2004. We were very frightened. While he was held in the detention center, we burned his Dafa books and other truth clarification materials. We now realize that we committed a sin. We are very sorry for what we did to Dafa and Master Li and solemnly declare, “Everything we did that was harmful to Master Li is null and void. We believe that Falun Dafa is good. We will support Falun Dafa practitioners.”
