(Minghui.org) I went to a hospital with a fellow practitioner to clarify the truth about Falun Dafa several days ago. We went to the third floor and then went down to each floor. We met a custodian whom I had clarified the truth to before. I happened to have some Shen Yun DVDs, so I gave her one. She was delighted to have it. One of her co-workers came out and asked what it was. I told her that it was a DVD of Shen Yun Performing Arts, and she asked if I had any more. I said that I also had Shen Yun's choir concert. Suddenly two men came out of nowhere, took my bag, and said, “You are a Falun Gong.” Then they dragged me away.
I sent forth righteous thoughts and thought, “You cannot move me.” They dragged me away to the security department. There were several people there. I began to clarify the truth. The director was vicious and would not listen to me at all. He had already called the police. Several minutes later, four policemen showed up. I adjusted my mentality and thought, “I need to compassionately save people.” The officers escorted me from the hospital and placed me into the police car.
I sent forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil factors behind the officers and asked Master to support me. It only took 3 minutes to get to the police station. I was taken to a room on the first floor. The director told me to sit down.
The room was not big: There was a bed on one side and a closet on the other. Four to five people already filled up the room. The director asked me, “Hey, what kind of DVD do you have?” He took one and put it into his computer. I told him that it was Shen Yun Performing Arts and it was wonderful. His computer could not play the disc, nor could he take it out. He then asked a young fellow to fix it. I told them: “Whatever you do, do not persecute Falun Gong. Do you know that it was Jiang Zemin who insisted on persecuting Falun Gong? People practice Falun Gong for fitness and health. I used to have heart disease but it disappeared after I began practicing Falun Gong. Falun Gong teaches people to abide by the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. I hope you do not follow Jiang Zemin in committing crimes.” The field was peaceful and I was calm.
Master said,
“Dafa and the righteous factors are covering and enriching everything, and at the same time, in terms of the persecution, this will bring about changes in society and on every front...” (“Teaching the Fa at the 2003 Atlanta Fa Conference” in Teaching the Fa at the Conference IV)
Falun Dafa enriches everything. I looked at the director and said, “I study Chinese medicine. Let me feel your pulse. I think you have stagnation and get easily tired, right?” He replied, “Yes.” I checked out the people the room and told each of them their health problems. The atmosphere became lighthearted.
The director said, “You are like Monk Jigong.” I knew that Master was encouraging me to save more people. At that time, two more people came in. One was a tall guy in his 40s. I smiled at him and said: “You are very healthy. Your dark, shining hair indicates your kidneys function well. In Chinese medicine, the kidney is the source of the essence of life.” He was very happy to hear that. I felt his pulse as well and stated: “Your kidneys and spleen are doing well, but your liver channel has some issues. From now on you need to cut down on your drinking and do not get upset. It hurts your liver. Anger can generate large amount of toxins. Our ancestors told us, 'When a conflict surfaces, if you step back you will find the sky and the ocean boundless.' Kindly treating others is kindly treating yourself; persecuting others is persecuting yourself. You do not do things that are against nature, right? Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is the universal law. As long as you acknowledge that Falun Dafa is good, you will be saved.” They were all nodding their heads. The director said, “All right, since you are talking about truthfulness, you need to tell us where you live and what your name is.” I replied, “I do not want to tell you. I do not want to help you commit a crime—that is for your sake.” They stopped asking me questions.
I spent two hours in the police station I kept talking and they all listened attentively. Nobody interrupted me. It was Master who was protecting me and granting me the wisdom. One young fellow took my bag and searched it again. He found something and began looking online. They said that I was a director of some kind. I still did not reply. The director went out with several others to eat.
I was taken to another room. Only one young man was there watching me. A while later a middle-aged policeman came in and asked me my name and address again. I looked at him and just smiled. He left. He wanted my fingerprints, but I refused to give them. Around 6 p.m., the director told me to call my wife to come pick me up. I did not cooperate.
At this time, two new policemen arrived, for a total of four people. I began talking again about the June 4th Massacre and the evil deeds that the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) has committed. I told them how after the Great Cultural Revolution, the director of the police department in Beijing committed suicide. Then the CCP officials took 793 policemen and 17 police officers to a secret location in Yunnan Province, executed them, and notified their families that they had “died in the line of duty.” Now the CCP is persecuting Falun Gong, and the outcome for the involved officials will be miserable. Ren Changxia, the director of Dengfeng City Police Department died in a car accident. She sat in the safest seat in the car, and nobody else was hurt, but she died. She was only in her 40s. Why? Because she was very active in persecuting Falun Gong.
I also told them about a huge rock in Zhangbu Town, Pingtang County, Guizhou Province, that rolled down the mountain and broke. On the cross-section there are six large Chinese characters that say, “Gone with the Chinese Communist Party.” The CCP sent out scientists to check it out, and they said that this rock had a history of 200 million years, that it was broken 500 years ago, and that the characters were naturally formed. Thus, it is heaven's will. I told the officers, “Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance are good.”
The director then told me that police had gone to my home twice but could not find my wife. He told me to call my children to pick me up. I realized I had done my job, so I called my son-in-law to pick me up. He came in ten minutes. The director saw me off at the door.
After I came home, my wife told me that the police had taken some of my DVDs, a DVD burner, three Falun Dafa books, and Master's picture. I then realized that I had not completely clarified the truth in the police station. Anything they took would not be good for them--they were committing crimes. I would have to go there again to get the items back. I also realized that I had not completely got rid of my attachment to fear.
I went back to the police station four times, until I finally found the director again. He told me that two people from the Domestic Security were were the ones who took my stuff. I thought: I will find a chance to clarify the truth to that bureau as well.
Then I looked inward and realized the following:
1. This is the critical time to save and rescue sentient beings. Our responsibility is saving sentient beings. We should clarify the truth to everyone. We should cultivate ourselves well on the basis of the Fa. Only then can we do well.
2.We need to change our old notions. I originally titled this article “Getting out of a Police Station with Righteous Thoughts,” but my purpose is to clarify the truth. Everyone has come for the Fa, no matter what one does, no mater what kind of career one has. Policemen are also waiting for us to save them. We need to change the notion of “policemen are perpetrators, and we are persecuted.” The fear of persecution is a selfish thought. I should cultivate it away.
Master said,
“Fear is a death trap on a human being's journey toward divinity.” (“Pass the Deadly Test”)
3. I believe that it is all right to use Chinese medicine as a stepping stone in clarifying the truth.
Master said,
“So during this Fa-rectification Dafa disciples can use at will any method that makes it easier to save sentient beings, so long as it's something the world's people can understand and can thus be saved through. All the same, we have been using things selectively and in a good and upright way.”(“Teaching the Fa at the 2005 Manhattan International Fa Conference” from Teaching the Fa at the Conference V)
4. I believe this happened because it directly targeted my attachments of fear, showing off, being opinionated, and being careless about the issue of safety. I also did not pay attention to cell phone safety, and fellow practitioners had warned me before that I should wrap the DVDs well before giving them out, but I kept on doing it my way. I really need to change from now on. Regarding Falun Dafa books being taken away, I also realized that as fellow practitioners we had not cooperated well. We really need to search within, pay close attention, and improve ourselves in order to save more people.
