Mr. Yao Peixi recovered from a stroke by practicing Falun Gong

Mr. Yao Peixi had a stroke at the age of 39. Dementia then set in, so he quit his job and stayed at home. In order to cure the illnesses, he tried practicing qigong, but there was no effect. In 1995, someone told him that Falun Gong worked well in healing diseases and keeping fit. Mr. Yao obtained a copy of Zhuan Falun and the videotapes of Master Li teaching the exercises. He read the book at home and learned the exercises by watching the videotapes.

As he read the book on the 28th day, all the stroke symptoms appeared again. Half of his body felt numb, and he had a fever and difficulty moving. Three days later, his head and body felt light and very comfortable. He became clearheaded with a good memory again. He has fully recovered since then. Since practicing Falun Gong, Mr. Yao is kind to others wherever he is, and he does not care about personal profit.

Mr. Yao was arrested and detained by the CCP

On February 25, 2012, at 8 a.m., officers from the Tangshan Police Department and the Lunan Police Branch broke into Mr. Yao. At that time, he had gone to work and only his wife was at home. The police then went to the company where Mr. Yao worked and took him away. Mr. Yao was taken to the Tangshan Second Detention Center.

At around 9 a.m., the police went to Mr. Yao's home again and ransacked it. They took away his computer, printer, and other things. At 2 p.m. in the afternoon, the police went to his home for the third time and ransacked it again.

That same day, about 20 practitioners were arrested in the Tangshan area. About 30 practitioners were involved. Beginning at 6 a.m., more than 10 and sometimes even 20 or 30 police officers broke into where Falun Gong practitioners lived and ransacked their homes. They took computers, printers, cash, and other valuables. They followed and brutally arrested Falun Gong practitioners. In some cases, the husband and wife were taken away at the same time; in another case, a family of three were arrested. In some cases, even those family members who did not practice Falun Gong were taken away.

More than 20 practitioners are currently detained in detention centers and jails. The CCP launched this effort before the annual “Two Congresses.” It was said that, on February 21, 2012, Liu Jianguo, Party secretary of the Tangshan Politics and Law Committee, instigated the arrests of Falun Gong practitioners and created a black list of names in order to “protect the security of the Two Congresses.”
