(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 12 cities or counties in 10 provinces. In this report, 1 practitioner was subjected to mistreatment while in detention and at least 13 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Wuwei, Gansu Province] Ms. Zhao Yuhua and Ms. Li Yuying Arrested
2. [Rongcheng, Shandong Province] Ms. Lian Guilan Arrested by the Rongcheng Police on February 29, 2012

1. [Wuwei, Gansu Province] Ms. Zhao Yuhua and Ms. Li Yuying Arrested

Ms. Zhao Yuhua and Ms. Li Yuying were reported while they were talking to people about Falun Gong on February 28, 2012. They were taken away by officers from the Wuwei Railroad Police Station.

2. [Rongcheng, Shandong Province] Ms. Lian Guilan Arrested by the Rongcheng Police on February 29, 2012

3. [Zigong, Sichuan Province] Mr. Hu Xuehai Arrested

Mr. Hu Xuehai from Guojiaao Zigong was taken away by officers from the Guojiaao Police Station, the Zigong Police Department and the Zigong Domestic Security Division. He is being detained the Nongtuan Brainwashing Center in Zigong City.

4. [Fuzhou, Fujian Province] Ms. Ye Lijin Arrested

62-year-old Ms.Ye Lijin was taken away by officers from the Mawei Police Station while she was going to visit her younger brother who lives in Mawei on February 11, 2012. Later on, she was transferred to the Fuzhou Detention Center and detained there for 15 days. On February 26, 2012, her family went to the detention center to pick her up. They were told that she had been transferred to the Women's Forced Labor Camp.

5. [Hefei, Anhui Province] Mr. Li Hongsheng Arrested

Mr. Li Hongsheng was arrested while he was talking to people about Falun Gong at the Hefei Station at the beginning of March 2012. Now he is being detained in the Hefei First Detention Center.

6. [Lingyuan, Liaoning Province] Mr. Zhou Kaiqing Arrested

On the morning of March 5, 2012, Pei Ren, President of the Daoerdeng Township Police Station in Lingyuan and officers from the Lingyuan Domestic Security Division took Mr. Zhou Kaiqing away.

7. [Shulan, Jilin Province] Mr. Wang Haipu and His Wife Li Change Arrested

Mr. Wang Haipu and his wife Li Change from Jishu Town, Shulan were recently taken to Nanshan, Shulan. Their home was ransacked.

8. [Zhuhai, Guangdong Province] Mr. Wang Zishan Arrested

Mr. Wang Zishan was recently arrested while he was about to board a flight at Guangzhou Airport. His whereabouts are unknown.

9. [Jiaonan, Shandong Province] Ms. Lu Hongqin Arrested

On the night of March 2, 2012, Ms. Lu Hongqin from Fajiazhuang, Liuwang Town, Jiaonan was taken away by officers from the Liuwang Police Station. At that same time, the police also took away her Falun Gong books.

10. [Beijing] Ms. Zhao Caixia Taken to the Daxing Forced Labor Camp

Ms. Zhao Caixia from Yanqing County was sentenced to two and a half years' forced labor. She was sent to the Daxing Forced Labor Camp on March 1, 2012.

11. [Liquan County, Shaanxi Province] Mr. Wang Jie Arrested

On March 1, 2012, Luo Weifang led Wang Tao and other police to arrest Mr. Wang Jie.
