(Clearwisdom.net) On December 12, 2011, the Wuxi City Court in Jiangsu Province, under the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) control, conducted an illegal trial for Falun Dafa practitioner Min Jie.
On September 27, 2011, several officers from Wuxi Police Department broke into Mr. Min's home and arrested him. He was creating Falun Gong truth clarification materials at the time. The police ransacked his home and confiscated his personal computer, printer, Falun Gong books and materials. On December 12, 2011, the Wuxi City Court put him on trial.
Mr. Min had been previously sentenced to three forced labor camp terms, where he was subjected to torture.
In January 2001, practitioners Min Jie, Song Junping and Chen Dingyuan were arrested in Tiananmen Square in Beijing. They were taken back to Wuxi and detained. A few months later, local CCP officials sentenced them to forced labor camp terms without following legal process. Among them, Mr. Min was given a two-year, six-month term.
Mr. Min was detained in the Zhongba Men's Forced Labor Camp in Guizhou Province. At the end of October 2002, he protested the ill treatment from the camp guards. Subsequently, political instructor Yang Renshou and six guards from the “strict discipline team” beat him until he fell unconscious. Mr. Min is about six feet tall and weighs over 154 pounds. After losing consciousness, he was dragged over a half mile to the solitary confinement team by two prison inmates. The savage beating he received resulted in rib fractures and severe bruising; his knees were also badly injured from being dragged over such a long distance. The left side of his chest was extremely swollen.

In 2007, Mr. Min was tortured in the forced labor camp, and he decided to go on a hunger strike to protest this persecution. He was subsequently force-fed four times. Authorities pried his mouth open with sharp sticks and inserted a tube during the force-feeding. He was also beaten by the inmates.
