(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 18 cities or counties in 8 provinces. According to this report, 8 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 18 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Harbin, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Zhang Shengguo Tortured in Hulan Prison

Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Zhang Shengguo was sentenced to 9 years of imprisonment by Xiangfang Court. He has been sent to Hulan Prison and is being tortured.

2. [Huaying, Sichuan Province] Ms. Zhou Yunzhu Detained

Ms. Zhou Yunzhu from Lushi township was illegally arrested on October 31, 2012, by agents from the State Security Division and her home was ransacked. Her computer and printer were taken away. She is now being held in Huaying Detention Center.

3. [Qianan, Hebei Province] Mr. Han Yalin and His Wife Arrested

Mr. Han Yalin and his wife were arrested at home on October 30, 2012.

4. [Tangshan, Hebei Province] Ms. An Qiufen and Ms. Dongdong Detained

Ms. An Qiufen and Ms. Dongdong (30 years old) were arrested on November 3, and their homes were ransacked. They are now in a detention center.

5. [Changchun, Jilin Province] Mr. Si Bowen Harassed

Mr. Si Bowen was harassed on the morning of November 6, 2012.

6. [Changchun, Jilin Province] Wang Jihong Sent to Weizigou Detention Center

Ms. Wang Jihong from the Luyuan District was taking her child to school on the morning of November 5, 2012, when she was arrested by Puyang District Police Station officers. Master's picture and Dafa books were taken from her home. She is being held in Weizigou Detention Center.

7. [Wuhan, Hubei Province] Mr. Zhang Wei Held in Brainwashing Center

Mr. Zhang Wei was a lecturer at Wuhan Technology University. He was arrested on November 5. He is currently in Hubei Brainwashing Center.

8. [Guangan, Sichuan Province] Mr. Cai Yuanyi Detained

Mr. Cai Yuanyi was arrested on November 2, 2012, after the police jumped over a wall and broke into his home. He is being detained in Wusheng.

9. [Beijing] Ms. Gao Fen Arrested

Wang Xiaowei from the Domestic Security Division and more than ten police officers arrested Ms. Gao Fen around October 24.

10. [Huanggang, Hubei Province] Ms. Mei Yifang Arrested

Ms. Mei Yifang (born in 1959) from Longgan Lake Zongchang was arrested on November 1, 2012.

11. [Tianjin] Ms. Zhao Fengzhi Detained

Ms. Zhao Fengzhi from the Hexi District was arrested and taken to Liuzi Police Station on the afternoon of October 26, 2012, as she was distributing informational materials about Falun Gong. She was taken to Wushuidao Detention Center.

12. [Yilan County, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zuo Xianfeng and Mr. Li Shoutian Detained

Ms. Zuo Xianfeng and Mr. Li Shoutian were talking to people about the facts of Falun Gong in Qianjin Village, Sandaogang Town, Yilan County, on November 4, 2012, when they were arrested by officers from Sandaogang Police Station. They are being detained in Yilan Detention Center.

13. [Beian, Heilongjiang Province] Four Practitioners Held in Brainwashing Facility

Officers from Tongbei County Government and Tongbei Police Station arrested Ms. Long Yanfen, Mr. Li Chengjiang, Mr. Ren Guangxi, and Ms. Bi Jinrong (Mr. Ren Guangxi's wife) on the morning of November 5, 2012. The four practitioners are now detained in a brainwashing center in Tongbei Town.

14. [Binzhou, Hunan Province] Ms. Fan Liying and Other Practitioners Held in Brainwashing Center

Ms. Fan Liying, a teacher at Beihu District Kindergarten, and other practitioners were arrested and taken to a brainwashing center.

15. [Guiyang, Guizhou Province] Ms. Li Qing Sentenced to Nine Years

Ms. Li Qing was recently sentenced to nine years in prison by Baiyun District Court.

16. [Chengdu, Sichuan Province] Ms. Zhang Liuqing Detained in Xinjin Brainwashing Center

17. [Linshui County, Suchuan Province] Mr. Chen Xinyi Sent to Brainwashing Center

Mr. Chen Xinyi, a retired Audit Department employee, was taken to Wusheng County Brainwashing Center on the morning of November 3, 2012.

18. [Shanghai] Ms. Xu Chenghua Arrested

Ms. Xu Chenghua, 70, from the Xuhui District was arrested when she was returning home on the afternoon of October 30, 2012.

19. [Xiangtan, Hunan Province] Mr. Zhang Xinmin Arrested

Mr. Zhang Xinmin was arrested around October 17, 2012. His current whereabouts are unknown.

20. [Yixian, Hebei Province] Ms. Li Yunxia Arrested after Being Released

Ms. Li Yunxia from Linquan Village, Bei Township, was detained in Shijiazhuang Women's Forced Labor Camp. Her term was finished. However, on October 28, 2012. she was taken to the Bei Township Government.
