(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 28 cities or counties in 16 provinces. In this report, 8 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 34 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Yueyang City, Hunan Province] Ms. Zhang Huilian Persecuted

Ms. Zhang Huilian, 68, retired from the Huaneng Family Member's Factory, was arrested on June 8, 2012, and held for 13 days. She was forcibly photographed in the County Detention Center. A police officer beat her with wires and pulled out much of her hair.

2. [Huolinhe City, Inner Mongolia] Ms. Zhou Liying Arrested

Ms. Zhou Liying was arrested by police officers on October 8, 2012, for talking to people about Falun Dafa. Her home was ransacked by many officers from the Domestic Security Division, and she is currently in the local detention center.

3. [Xiangzhou City, Hubei Province] Mr. Wang Shengli Arrested

Mr. Wang Shengli, 60, was arrested by officers from the Fancheng District 610 Office and the Domestic Security Division on October 23, 2012. He was taken to the provincial brainwashing center.

4. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Hou Chunli Persecuted

Ms. Hou Chunli was arrested by officers from the Jinzhou Xinqu Police Station on July 6, 2012. While in the Dalian Detention Center she was beaten so badly that her legs were broken and her kidney was injured. She has returned home.

5. [Guangan City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Zhou Guifang Arrested

Ms. Zhou Guifang, 73, was arrested by Hu Wenbing, chairperson of the Dai City East Street Neighborhood Committee, and others on October 15, 2012. She is being held in the Huaying City Detention Center.

6. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Ge Jianzhen and Ms. Wang Xiuyuan Arrested

Ms. Ge Jianzhen was arrested by Hu Shaoqin, chief of the Anqiu City 610 Office, and other police officers while she was working at the Jingzhi Wine Factory on May 17, 2012. She was held in the Danshan Township Brainwashing Center for more than two weeks. Falun Dafa books, a photo of Master Li Hongzhi, a recorder, and a computer were confiscated.

Another practitioner, Ms. Wang Xiuyuan, was also arrested at the same time and held in the Danshan Township Brainwashing Center for almost two weeks. Their Falun Dafa books and materials were confiscated.

7. [Anqing City, Anhui Province] Mr. Cao Xiongbin Arrested

Mr. Cao Xiongbin was arrested at home by officers from the Anqing 610 Office on October 25, 2012. He was sent to a brainwashing center.

8. [Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province] Mr. Yue Yuehua and Mr. Wu Jingjun Arrested

Mr. Yue Yuehua and Mr. Wu Jingjun were arrested by more than ten officers from the Domestic Security Division of the Xihu Police Department on the night of October 17 and in the early morning of October 18, 2012.

9. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Tian Arrested

Ms. Tian was arrested by officers from the Hanyang Qinduankou Police Station and the Bailing Residential Committee for talking to people about Falun Dafa on October 23, 2012. More than 20,000 yuan was confiscated, and her husband, who is not a practitioner, was also arrested.

10. [Hefei City, Anhui Province] Ms. Gao Liya Arrested on October 16, 2012 by Officers from the Hefei 610 Office

11. [Shanghai] Ms. Zhang Xiangfeng, Ms. Fang Yindi Arrested

Ms. Zhang Xiangfeng and Ms. Fang Yingdi were arrested by officers from the Tianping Police Station on October 18, 2012. Their homes were ransacked. Ms. Fang Yindi returned home while the whereabouts of Ms. Zhang Xiangfeng remain unknown.

12. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Ms. Yang Naifen and Her Husband Arrested

Ms. Yang Naifen and her husband were arrested at home by officers from the Boshan Domestic Security Division. A computer, a laser printer, an ink-jet printer, and cash were confiscated.

13. [Shanghai] Ms. Liu Shufen Arrested

Ms. Liu Shufen was arrested by officers from the Dachang Town Comprehensive Management Office on October 18, 2012. Her whereabouts remain unknown.

14. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Hui Yajing and Mr. Yan Deijin Arrested

Ms. Hui Yajing and Mr. Yan Deijin were arrested on October 23, 2012, while talking to farmers about Falun Dafa. They were taken to the Li County Detention Center.

15. [Renqiu City, Hebei Province] Ms. Xing Jingyun Arrested by Officers from the Bohai Police Department

Ms. Xing Jingyun was arrested by officers from the Bohai Police Department on October 23, 2012, while she was distributing Falun Dafa materials.

16. [Donggang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Ping Persecuted

Ms. Liu Ping was arrested by officers from the Dadong Police Station on October 16, 2012. She is now being held in the Dandong Detention Center.

17. [Zao City, Hubei Province] Ms. Cheng Huanxian and Ms. He Meirong Arrested

The homes of Ms. Cheng Huanxian, 62, Ms. He Meirong, and another practitioner were ransacked. Computers and Falun Dafa books were confiscated. Ms. Cheng is being held in the Tianmen Detention Center. The whereabouts of Ms. He remain unknown.

18. [Chenzhou City, Hunan Province] Mr. Wang Xiaoping Arrested

Mr. Wang Xiaoping was arrested by Hu Yunguo from the Guiyang County 610 Office and other officers from the Domestic Security Division on October 24, 2012. His whereabouts remain unknown.

19. [Loudi City, Hunan Province] Mr. Li Shuping Arrested

Mr. Li Shuping (in his fifties) was arrested by officers from the 610 Office on October 23, 2012 and had been sent to the Laodao River Brainwashing Center.

Ms. Wei Caixia was arrested at work on October 24, 2012, and taken to a brainwashing center.

Ms. Zeng Lingqiong was arrested by officers from the Xiangfu Police Station on October 6, 2012. She is being held in the Qingbaijiang District Detention Center

Mr. Xu Shuijin and Ms. Chu Qihua were arrested on October 21, 2012, for talking to people about Falun Dafa.

24. [Tianshui City, Gansu Province] Mr. Zhang Yingtang's Wife Arrested

Officers from the Tianshui City Police Department broke into the home of Mr. Zhang Yingtang and arrested his wife. A computer, a printer, and cash were confiscated.

25. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Dong Qiaoyun Recently Arrested by Officers from Meihuashan Police Station

26. [Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Luo Chunrong Arrested

Ms. Luo Chunrong, 66, a retired employee of the Nanchang Water Company, was arrested at home on October 22, 2012, by officers from the 610 Office and her ex-colleagues. She was sent to the brainwashing center near the Nanchang City First Detention Center.

27. [Zhengzhou City, Henan Province] Mr. Yan Xusheng and Mr. Xiaolong Arrested

Mr. Yan Xusheng and Mr. Xiaolong were arrested by officers from the Zhengzhou Domestic Security Division on October 8, 2012.

Mr. Long Bingfeng and Mr. Li Runtian were arrested by officers from the Lingji Police Station on October 24, 2012. Their homes were ransacked.

29. [Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Jin Rong Arrested

Ms. Jin Rong was arrested by officers from the Domestic Security Division of Xincheng Police Department on October 15, 2012. She is being held in the Detention Center of the Lianhu Police Department.

30. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Jiezi and Her Parents Arrested on October 23, 2012, and Sent to the Fengjin Brainwashing Center

31. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Ma Chunling Arrested

Ms. Ma Chunling was arrested by officers from the Zhanbei Police Station while she was distributing Shen Yun DVDs on August 29, 2012. She was taken to the Jinjiajie Detention Center and her home was ransacked. Two computers, one printer, three cell phones, and all of her Falun Dafa books and materials were confiscated.

She was brutally treated and had to have stitches on September 5. She has been transferred to the Yaojia Detention Center.
