(Minghui.org) Mr. Wang Shouchen from Dafangshen Village in Dalianwan Town was arrested by four or five officers from Qingniwaqiao Police Station at 8 a.m. on July 6, 2012 when he was on his way to install a satellite dish for a client. The police confiscated his car. Shortly afterward, the police broke into his house through a window and ransacked it. Mr. Wang's computer, TV and other personal belongings were confiscated. His elderly parents are very worried about his safety. His six-year-old son constantly cries asking for his father, and his wife weeps everyday.
The following is Mr. Wang's wife's appeal letter:
My husband's physical condition wasn't very good in the past, and he was frequently ill. He had nephritis, hepatitis B, thrombocytopenia, and his eyesight was very poor. When we went to the hospital, the doctor said he might have meningitis and they didn't have a cure for him. Our whole family was frustrated, under pressure and faced despair.
But my husband was very fortunate, as a kind-hearted friend gave him the precious book Zhuan Falun to read. Because of his pain, it wasn't possible for him to sit or lie down; he could only kneel. So he spent the best part of three days on his knees, until he finished reading Zhuan Falun. When he went to the hospital for a check-up one week later, the doctors found that all of his illnesses had disappeared. It was a miracle. My husband was very excited and knew that it was Dafa that saved him. He really appreciated Falun Gong from the bottom of his heart and knew that Falun Dafa is good.
My husband tried his best to discipline himself according to the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. When our neighbors needed help, they always went to him, and he never turned them away. As time went by, people all knew that he is a good man.
However, on July 6, 2012 he suddenly disappeared. We were all very worried and looked for him everywhere. Finally, we learned that he had been illegally arrested by officers from Qingniwaqiao Police Station, because he had installed satellite dishes for people to watch NTDTV, an independent media outlet that broadcasts uncensored news from the outside world into China, which the Communist regime doesn't want people to see.
My husband's arrest was very shocking to our elderly parents, and they couldn't sleep at night. Our six-year-old son longs for his father to return. Every night before he goes to bed, he places his dad's pillow and waits for him to come home. Sometimes he misses his dad so much that he just sits there and cries. Once he fell asleep crying. He had a dream one day that his dad came back, he was so happy that he woke up and jumped out of bed. But as soon as he found it was only a dream, he became very sad and couldn't stop crying.
My husband is a nice and kind man. I also cry everyday. I know he has been wronged and shouldn't be persecuted. As long as he is detained, I will keep appealing for him and I believe people's conscience will wake up.
