Additional Persecution News from China – November 3, 2012 (16 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 15 cities or counties in 11 provinces. According to this report, 4 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention and at least 24 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province] Many Practitioners Including Ms. Han Xiufang Arrested

Ms. Han Xiufang, Ms. Sun Fa, Ms. Zhang, Ms. Liu, Ms. Ma Shujie, Ms. Lang Jing, Ms. Zhuang Xiaoli, and others were arrested by officers from the Mudanjiang Domestic Security Team and local police stations on November 2, 2012.

2. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Li Xiujie Arrested and Home Ransacked

Officers from the Dadong District Domestic Security Team and Ertaizi Police Station broke into Mr. Zhao Jiyuan's home on the morning of November 2, 2012. The police arrested Mr. Zhao's wife, Ms. Li Xiujie, and ransacked their home.

3. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Ms. Liu Bing Arrested

Ms. Liu Bing was arrested outside the residential building where she lives on the morning of November 2, 2012. The police then ransacked her home. Ms. Liu was taken to the Tongjiang Police Station.

4. [Yushu City, Jilin Province] Ms. Yu Shuqing Arrested

Ms. Yu Shuqing was arrested by Zhang Deqing and several officers from the local police station on October 30, 2012. She is being held at the Yushu Economic Relations & Trade Committee Hotel.

5. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Mr. Huo Chengzhi and Ms. Li Xiuying Taken to Brainwashing Center

Mr. Huo Chengzhi and Ms. Liu Xiuying were arrested and taken to the Shahezi Brainwashing Center on the morning of November 2, 2012, by officers from the Xiangyang Police Station.

6. [Fusong County, Jilin Province] Mr. Su Liming, Ms. Chen Changling, and Ms. Li Shuhong Detained

Mr. Su Liming, Ms. Chen Changling, and Ms. Li Shuhong are from Baoshi Village, Yanjiang Town, Fusong County. They were arrested on October 30, 2012, and are being held in the Fusong County Detention Center.

7. [Huanghua City, Hebei Province] Mr. Wang Shenghua Tortured at the Shandong Second Forced Labor Camp

Mr. Wang Shenghua is being held in the Shandong Province Second Forced Labor Camp. He solemnly declared that the three statements he wrote under duress are null and void on April 12, 2012. The camp authorities and the guards tortured him with many tactics, including hanging him up in handcuffs. Mr. Wang was twice sent to the hospital for emergency treatment.

8. [Linzhou City, Henan Province] Ms. Hou Sumei, Ms. Hou Suping, and Ms. Yang Ruijin Imprisoned

Ms. Hou Sumei, about 59, and her sister Ms. Hou Suping, about 47, were arrested by chief Ma Zhihong and several officers from the Linzhou Domestic Security Team on September 9, 2012, for posting stickers that contained information about Falun Gong. Their homes were ransacked and they are now incarcerated in Anyang Prison.

Ms. Yang Ruijin, 67, was arrested at home on October 24, 2012. She is incarcerated in Anyang Prison.

9. [Yingkou City, Liaoning Province] More Information on the Arrest of Mr. Li Guang

A group of officers from the Bayuquan District Domestic Security Team, led by Wang Hongkui, opened Mr. Li Guang's door with a master key on the evening of October 30, 2012. The police arrested Mr. Li, ransacked his home, and confiscated two computers and a box of Dafa books. Mr. Li is being held in the Bayuquan District Detention Center.

10. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] More Information on the Arrests of Ms. Li Fenglian and Ms. Zhou Aiping

Ms. Li Fenglian and Ms. Zhou Aiping were arrested on October 29, 2012, for speaking with people about Falun Gong. They are being held in the Dongxihu Detention Center. Their families are not allowed to visit them.

11. [Huainan City, Anhui Province] Mr. Wu Jiayue Taken to Brainwashing Center

Mr. Wu Jiayue, in his 30s, was just released from Chizhou Prison. He was recently arrested and taken to a brainwashing center located at the Dengqi Hotel.

12. [Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Huo Yingchun Taken to Brainwashing Center on October 30, 2012

13. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Zhao Hu Arrested and Home Ransacked

Mr. Zhao Hu was arrested at home on October 25, 2012, by officers from the Huanghuagang Police Station. His home was also ransacked.

14. [Huangshan City, Anhui Province] Ms. Dai Guohua, Ms. Huang Yongsun, and Ms. Yue Hong Sentenced

Ms. Dai Guohua, Ms. Huang Yongsun, and Ms. Yue Hong were secretly sentenced by the Tunxi District Court in October 2012. Ms. Dai was sentenced to three and a half years in prison. Ms. Huang and Ms. Yue were each sentenced to two and a half years in prison.

15. [Dezhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Xiuqin and Ms. Bi Yanmei Beaten

Ms. Zhang Xiuqin and Ms. Bi Yanmei were arrested by patrol officers on the morning of October 29, 2012, for handing out Falun Gong informational materials. They were taken to the Jianzigu Police Station. They were both beaten. Ms. Bi foamed at the mouth and fainted. She was sent to the hospital for emergency treatment for three days. The police later notified her husband to take her home. Ms. Zhang is being held at the Dezhou Detention Center.

Ms. Wang Suqin was arrested by officers from the Hongshan District Police Department on the morning of July 31, 2012. She is being held in the Hongshan District Detention Center.
