(Minghui.org) Two truth-clarification materials production sites were recently sabotaged at the same time. One was forced to suspend operations, and five practitioners were arrested. Among them, three were young practitioners who are good at technology. This incident caused quite a stir in our area. The arrest of the three practitioners with technical skills caused a loss to our validating the Fa and saving sentient beings.

When I heard this news, I wasn’t so shocked. I was familiar with the three practitioners and knew somewhat their cultivation state. It was a pity. I blamed myself for not helping fellow practitioners eliminate the elements of persecution. Today, I would like to write this article to offer some references for others.

Don’t Push Our Own Cultivation onto “Technical Practitioners”

As we have more truth-clarification material sites in operation, issues of equipment maintenance and supply purchase arise. For many years, several practitioners had been swamped by such issues. When we occasionally read the Fa or sent righteous thoughts together, I was worried by what I saw. When reading the Fa, they were either dozing off or reading some characters wrong. When sending righteous thoughts, their palms fell.

Whenever we pointed out the issues to them, they were willing to accept our criticism. However, the next time we met, the situation would recur. Every time, they came in a rush and left in a hurry, usually urged by multiple rounds of phone calls. Seeing their backs as they left, I didn’t know what more to do except for silently wishing them well and supporting them with righteous thoughts.

In our area, dependence on these “technical practitioners” is common among those who are involved in making truth-clarification materials. When supplies are needed or when equipment goes wrong, the first reaction is to seek help from these practitioners. We have treated technical practitioners as walking sticks in our cultivation. We have pushed what should be part of our own cultivation onto fellow practitioners.

Master said:

“Be considerate of others when you do things, and look at yourself when you get into disagreements.” (Fa Teaching at the 2009 Washington DC International Fa Conference)

When we depend on other practitioners, have we thought about the following?Practitioners with technical skills are also cultivators. They need time to study the Fa, do the exercises, send righteous thoughts and continuously cleanse themselves; otherwise, they may harbor strong attachments of achievements and other sorts. These attachments may hinder them from doing the three things well. We cannot push our own cultivation onto these practitioners.

We all know that there are no coincidences on the journey of cultivation. Could all difficulties we encounter when making truth-clarification materials be accidental? They emerge for our elevation. Our first thought should be a cultivator’s thought: looking inward, finding our problems, letting go of attachments and handling things righteously with the divine power that Master has bestowed to us. If we solely depend on technology and overlook our righteous thoughts and divine power, we will get it wrong. In fact, a lot of fellow practitioners shared about how they used divine power to resolve technical glitches. Of course, I’m not saying that technology is not important. It’s just that, for cultivators, we need to prioritize.

As for the attachment of dependance, it hinders our own cultivation and harms the ones we depend on. The evil Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) 16th congress has already given us a serious lesson. When we depend too much on a few technical practitioners, Master and righteous gods see our attachment. The evil sees it too. Then the evil will use this as an excuse to persecute technical practitioners. However, Master and righteous gods cannot help us in this case, as it is caused by our attachments.

Treating Homeless Practitioners Compassionately

How to treat homeless practitioners is another issue that our local practitioners, especially coordinators, need to pay attention to. We study the same Fa and are all disciples of the same Master. We shouldn’t discriminate between local and out-of-town practitioners. Nor should we have the mindset of discrimination or repulsion. Homeless practitioners go to the areas that are predestined to them. We should treat them kindly and arrange for them to join our group Fa study and improve together in our cultivation.

Homeless practitioners, including the three technical practitioners persecuted this time, have played a significant role in our area’s validation of the Fa and saving sentient beings. Some projects they do are irreplaceable. They have become an integral part of our area’s one body. If we don’t pay attention to this issue, potential lack of coordination may cause losses.

Of course, we cannot blindly take in unfamiliar practitioners. We need to get to know them first. If we see any behavior not on the Fa, we need to put the brakes on immediately and make sure we don’t provide a stage for them.

The arrests of the five practitioners this time had something to do with handling out-of-town practitioners inappropriately. A few practitioners in our area brought out-of-town practitioners to homes of local practitioners without consulting with coordinators. They also called for a sharing with these out-of-town practitioners. Some practitioners heard their sharing and said it was very bad.

Fellow practitioners, if you know that your experiences will benefit others, I suggest you write them in an article and send it to Minghui! Minghui is the sharing platform for Dafa disciples all over the world and is endorsed by our Master.

Although now our environment is more relaxed, the evil still exists. Why can't we be more rational? Why don’t we consider fellow practitioners’ safety? Why don’t we ask ourselves whether our actions may even disturb the systematic arrangements Master makes for each disciple? What has motivated us to do so? Of course, we cannot simply blame others. We should look at ourselves more and see if we have loopholes in our understanding of the Fa, whether our field is righteous, and whether coordinators have paid attention to relevant issues, and so on.

I would like to finalize with a quote from Master’s Fa.

“But, as long as you go by Dafa, go by what Master has told you, you will have a path to walk, and that will be something nobody can change. But the path will be very narrow—narrow to the extent that only if you are extremely righteous will things work out and will you manage to save people. Only if you can go about things in an extremely righteous manner will there be no problems.” (What is a Dafa Disciple)

Thank you.
