Mother from Inner Mongolia Illegally Sentenced, Daughter Detained

(Minghui.org) Ms. Yue Shuxia, in her 60s, is a Falun Gong practitioner from Chifeng, Inner Mongolia. She was illegally arrested in April 2012 and framed by officials from the Yuanbaoshan Police Department. It was learned that the court sentenced her to imprisonment without following any legal proceedings.

Police, including agents from the Yuanbaoshan Police Department, Xilutian Police Station, and Qianjinlu Police Station, broke into Ms. Yue's home, located in Wofosi, Pingzhuang, the Yuanbaoshan District, in the early morning of April 15, 2012. They ransacked the place and destroyed many of Ms. Yue's belongings. They also looted personal property and confiscated her Falun Gong books and materials.

Ms. Yue was arrested by officer Wang Heran and others from the Domestic Security Division of the Yuanbaoshan Police Department.

Cui Lixin, deputy chief of the police department, and Wang Heran attempted to have Ms. Yue sentenced for possessing Falun Gong materials. They also listed fabricated “evidence” and submitted the case to the Procuratorate. However, the Procuratorate ruled that the case was unreasonable and would not accept it.

Subsequently, Wang Heran continued to fabricate evidence in the attempt to frame Ms. Yue. Finally, the Procuratorate accepted the case.

Regaining Good Health Through Falun Gong Practice

Before practicing Falun Gong, Ms. Yue suffered from fundus inflammation, bronchitis, gastritis, colitis, and arthritis. She had to take all kinds of medication from the time she was in her 20s and owed a lot of money due to her medical expenses.

Ms. Yue had the good fortune to begin the practice of Falun Gong in 1996, and her health and circumstances greatly improved. Ms. Yue has been very healthy for the past 10 years and has not needed to take any medicine.

Police Threaten Child, Arrest Innocent Senior

Ms. Yue's daughter, Ms. Li Xiuron, is 40 years of age and also a Falun Gong practitioner. On the evening of April 14, 2012, one day prior to Ms. Yue’s arrest, Ms. Li was reported to the police when she distributed informational materials about Falun Gong in Wofosi, Pingzhuang, the Yuanbaoshan District. She was followed and arrested by officers from the Xilutian Police Station and Wang Heran from the Domestic Security Division. Police also ransacked her home.

Police officers interrogated Ms. Li using violence, but failed to get any information. Afterward, they threatened her child, a middle-school student, and forced the child to tell them where the Falun Gong materials came from. Threatened and deceived by the police, the child told them that the materials came “from Grandma.” The next morning, April 15, police arrested Ms. Yue.

At present, both Ms. Yue and her daughter, Ms. Li, are being held in the Pingzhuang Detention Center in the Yuanbaoshan District of Chifeng.

We call for help free these innocent Falun Gong practitioners immediately.
