(Clearwisdom.net) On July 20, 1999, Jiang Zemin started the brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners who believe in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. Around the year 2000, organized, brainwashing centers (so called “legal school” or “legal education class” but in fact are illegal prisons, were set up by the 610 Office. Innocent and kindhearted practitioners were persecuted with lies and violence.
Falun Dafa practitioners' faith in Falun Dafa and the resistance to the persecution, as well as their perseverance in clarifying the truth and great benevolence and forbearance have impressed many people around the world and also the perpetrators who participate in the persecution. Many people have learned the truth and have ceased persecuting others, which allows for the rapid disintegration of the vast majority of brainwashing centers throughout the country. Only a very few brainwashing centers are left, organized by those shameless, cruel and unscrupulous people who only pursue self-interest. Wuchang Brainwashing Center in Heilongjiang Province, is one of these.
When a Falun Gong practitioner is arrested and taken to the brainwashing center, Fu Yanchun, the head of the Wuchang Brainwashing Center usually tells them first; “When you enter, the only result is to be transformed. If not, you will not be released unless you are dead.” “You can go out and ask whether anyone was persecuted to death here. If a person is persecuted to death, it is considered suicide, which is the policy.” “The CCP will not argue with you about policy. If you are capable, you can go out and sue! Even if you appeal, it is useless. Who dares to work on the case?” “I am in charge of everything here. It means nothing even if you are persecuted to death. This is your hell in the human society.”
Methods of torture used here are, the big hang up (see following illustration) and hung up with four limbs spread out. Practitioners are hung on metal pipes with toes facing the floor, then electric shocked and brutally beaten. The most common torture they are using currently is to hang people up by their handcuffs to the metal pipes with their toes touching the floor.

Since the year 2000, approximately 500 practitioners have been held and tortured at the Wuchang Brainwashing Center. Currently it is located in the residential building of the Birth-control office of Wuchang City. It occupies the first and second floor without a sign on the door. But residents of Wuchang City know about it. It is controlled directly by the 610 Office of Heilongjiang Province. For the past ten years, it has not only persecuted practitioners from Heilongjiang Province, but also practitioners from Jilin and Liaoning Province.
During this period, Fu Yanchun and his son-in-law, Mo Zhenshan and Zhu Xianfu used violence and torture to deceive and force practitioners to write the three statements.
If Falun Gong practitioners cannot endure the endless persecution and write down the so called three statements, then another round of more brutal persecution will start when they are locked in the rooms. Each morning, they need to write the “three statements,” which slander Dafa and Master Li. During the day, they have to study books and videos that slander and verbally abuse Dafa and Master. They are required to write down their “understanding” every day. They will not be released until what they write down meets the standard. Otherwise, they are held endlessly.
During this period, they are threatened to be sentenced to a labor camp or prison if they are not “transformed”. Before their release, there will be all kinds of tests ahead of them. They are required to brainwash other newly detained practitioners. One reason is to test whether they are truly transformed and the other reason is to see if he or she is affected by newly arrived practitioners and influenced to write a solemn declaration to resume cultivation.
The people working at the Wuchang Brainwashing Center include, but are not limited to;
Fu Yanchun, currently is the chief of the Wuchang Brainwashing Center. He is the main person involved in the torture. Because of his participation in persecuting Falun Gong, he was promoted as the deputy secretary of the Political and Judiciary Committee.
Zhu Xianfu, currently is the secretary of the Wuchang Brainwashing Center. He cannot distinguish between right and wrong. He is in charge of everyday logistics. Because he is brainwashed by the CCP culture, he doesn't realize the evil nature of the CCP. This kind of person is the most dangerous and pathetic. If he cannot understand the current situation and quit the CCP as soon as possible, it will be too late for him to regret.
Mo Zhenshan currently is the deputy chief of the Wuchang Brainwashing Center. He is in charge of forcing practitioners to write the “three statements” and other perverted understandings. There are certain people, void of a conscience, in the government agencies of the CCP who seek only personal profit.
Other staff are mainly family members and relatives of those people listed above. Fu's son-in-law is the main person involved in the torture. Others are cooperating to help to transform and monitor Falun Gong practitioners. Because they are deceived by the CCP's propaganda, they are doing things to help the evil. They think that their family members and relatives are capable of helping them to find jobs that earn 2000 yuan per month without contributing much work. They could never imagine that they are actually walking on the path to destruction.
Those books and DVDs used to brainwash Falun Gong practitioners are full of lies. The materials used spread hatred and verbally abuse Master and Dafa. All these things cannot deceive and transform genuine practitioners; On the other hand, practitioners who are persecuted can easily understand how evil and brutal the CCP is. Thus the persecutors strengthen Dafa disciples' determination and faith in Dafa and respect towards Master.
From the composition of the staff of the Wuchang Brainwashing Center, we can see how evil and corrupt officials inside the organization are. From the torture and forceful brainwashing of Falun Gong practitioners with all kinds of methods, we can see how the officials treat people.
The CCP's lies are known by most people. More than one hundred million people have bravely quit the CCP. Currently, in China, there are many complaints from the people and there are frequent group protest events. There are calamities everywhere. These reveal warnings from heaven and the anger from the people.
