(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Guo Min was put in the Kangtai Mental Hospital in Huanggang City in 2000. It has been over ten years since she was transferred to the Xishui County Mental Hospital, in 2002.
Ms. Guo worked at the Xishui Municipal Office of SAT, Xima Township Branch Office. She started practicing Falun Gong in 1996. In March 2000, when the Chinese Communist Party escalated the persecution of Falun Gong, she refused to give up her belief and was pressured by her family and workplace. She decided to go to Hangzhou and stay with a relative for a while. At the Hangzhou train station, police illegally searched her and found Falun Gong books that she had with her. As a result, she was illegally detained by the Hangzhou Police Department.
After over three weeks, Xishui County Municipal Office of SAT Employee Union chairwoman Tang Yuanhong went to Hangzhou and brought Ms. Guo Min back to Hubei, and put her into Kangtain Mental Hospital in Huanggang City. She was being treated as a patient, given unnecessary medication, and was severely damaged mentally. After two years, Tang Yuanhong conspired with then police department director Tang Yuanming (her sister) to transfer Ms. Guo Ming to the Xishui County Mental Hospital. It has now been over eight years. Ms. Guo has been devastated both physically and mentally, due to the overuse of medicine and the persecution. She has also been diagnosed with cancer.
For over ten years, a young woman in her prime has been locked up in a mental hospital and has spent the best part of her life there, a victim of the Chinese Communist Party’s despotic power.
