Kaohsiung, Taiwan: Introducing Falun Gong to the Local Community (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioners in Kaohsiung were invited to participate in the 65^th anniversary celebration of Taisugar (Taiwan Sugar Corporation) on July 16, 2011. The Divine Land Marching Band made up of Falun Gong practitioners played powerful and solemn Falun Dafa music and led people to the celebration venue, the Sugar Museum.

The Divine Land Marching Band and waist drum team started the celebration off with a wonderful performance and won warm applause. Practitioners demonstrated the five Falun Gong exercises. They became a focus of attention during the celebration.

After the celebration, practitioners held a parade in Kaohsiung to introduce Falun Dafa to a wider audience. Spectators were fascinated by the magnificent procession, including the band, waist drum team, banners, a model of the book Zhuan Falun, celestial maiden dancers, and an exercise demonstration. They took pictures, gave practitioners the thumbs-up, and pressed their hands in front of their chests in salute.

Local residents receive Falun Dafa information and paper lotus flowers

Practitioners distributed information about Falun Dafa and handed out paper lotus flowers along the 90-minute-long parade. Many people learned about the benefits of Falun Dafa.
