(Clearwisdom.net) I learned after reading the article “Practitioners Shall Never Praise the Evil Party” in Minghui Weekly, that some practitioners participated in the singing of the July 1st choir for the anniversary of the Communist Party's founding and I felt awful. We are here to save sentient beings. How can we join the evil party to poison and harm them instead?

Working for a national enterprise, I have totally avoided all of the Communist party’s activities. Below are some of my experiences. Please point out my shortcomings.

I used to write articles for the CCP, but after I read the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, I wrote a statement declaring that I would stop writing for them and that all my prior writings were null and void. Soon after, my manager wanted me to write another article but I refused. The manager threatened to fine me but I persisted. As time went on, no one asked me anymore.

Once, everyone in our group was forced to practice at noon for the National Day celebration. I went twice, but then I realized that as a practitioner, I should not have. So I stopped going the third time. The manager was furious when she found out and forced us to do individual practice on the spot. I was nervous and went to the restroom to hide. Then I realized that it was the evil that was controlling her. Why should I hide? I sent forth righteous thoughts to disintegrate the dark minions, the rotten ghosts and the CCP’s evil spirit. I went back to my seat, thinking that no one would dare touch me. I sat right in front of the manager, but she acted as though she didn't see me. She did not call me to the subsequent practices.

Once, a colleague wanted to borrow my pants for a Party celebration. I refused and told her that I would not support any of the CCP activities. She nodded and accepted it. I enlightened that one should not support the Party activities at all, not even a bit.

Last year, the company gave all employees a t-shirt with words praising the Party on the front. I threw it in the garbage can when I got home. Later, when others all wore it, I did not.

The Party also ordered everyone to go and watch a performance. I refused to go. A colleague asked me: “Is it going to be okay?” I said: “How can they force people to see the show? Only the CCP would do such a thing. I am not going.” The manager did not react.

Some colleagues applied to join the Party. I felt sad for them and didn't fill in anything on the voting ballot that I was asked to fill in.

I did not disclose my identity as a practitioner. In telling people the facts about Falun Gong and urging them to quit the CCP, I acted as a third party. I followed Teacher’s guidance: “When disciples have ample righteous thoughts, Master has the power to turn back the tide” (“The Master-Disciple Bond” in Hong Yin Volume II). Going through one obstacle at a time, I avoided all activities of the evil Communist Party. For those who are in the open as practitioners, I feel they should boldly tell their managers that they refuse to praise the party that persecutes Falun Gong.

By not attending any of the evil party’s activities we can speak out when we tell people the facts about Falun Gong and urge them to quit the CCP.
