(Clearwisdom.net) While practitioners Zhao Guirong and Gou Zhengxia were distributing informational materials about Falun Dafa in Weicheng District, Xianyang City on July 4, 2011, they were reported to police and then taken away to Wenlin Road Police Station by officers from the National Security Team of Weicheng Police Branch in Xianyang. At night, police officers, as well as another individual named Zhao from the security section, broke into Ms. Zhao's home and confiscated Shen Yun DVDs, Falun Dafa informational materials, and Dafa books.

Ms. Zhao Guirong, 59, is retired from a travel agency at North Ave., Xianyang, Shaanxi Province. She went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa on December 29, 1999, and tried to tell Beijing authorities about the benefits that she gained from the practice. In response, the police forcibly handcuffed her hands behind her back. After learning where she was from, the police sent her to the Shaanxi Province Office in Beijing. She was then sent to Shaanxi Province Women's Forced Labor Camp. While she was talking with people about Falun Dafa on November 5, 2001, Ms. Zhao was again arrested, this time by Liu Zhiyong, an officer from the 610 Office of Xianyang Police Branch. She was taken to Qindu District Detention Center and then sent to Shaanxi Women's Forced Labor Camp to serve a two and a half year term.

On September 20, 2005, while Ms. Zhao and Ms. Gou Zhengxia were distributing informational materials in the residential area of the No. 2 Cotton Mill in Xianyang, they were reported to the authorities. On September 23, they were sent to Shaanxi Women's Forced Labor Camp for three years.

Ms. Gou Zhengxia, 54, is retired from Xianyang Electrical Factory (also called Kunlun Company) in Shaanxi Province. On November 5, 2001, at around 8:00 p.m., officers Liu Zhiyong and Zhang Runzhi from Xianyang 610 Office, along with others, broke into Ms. Gou's home to search it. They confiscated Dafa materials, a tape recorder, and an exercise tape. They took Ms. Gou to Qindu District Detention Center. She was later sent to Shaanxi Women's Forced Labor Camp to serve an eighteen-month term.

Ms. Gou was arrested again on September 20, 2005. She held a hunger strike, but at the direction of a female guard, was shoved down to the ground by a drug addict and forced-fed brine. She was sentenced to two years in the Shaanxi Women's Forced Labor Camp on September 23. The night of her sentence, she was beaten by drug addict Ren Xiaoqin, again at the direction of a female guard. She was not allowed to sleep at the camp, and was forced to do manual labor 12 hours per day. She was sometimes deprived of sleep for several days in a row. She was released on July 30, 2007. Personnel from the court and the 610 Office went to her home shortly after her release and harassed her.
