Falun Dafa Has Purified My Body and Soul

(Clearwisdom.net) I am a fifty-seven year-old farmer who used to be a miserable person. I came from a poverty-stricken family. Due to my poor health, I was hot-tempered and easily became irritated. Falun Gong has completely changed me.

Before practicing Falun Gong I suffered from numerous illnesses, including coronary heart disease, stomach disease, pleurisy, bronchitis, gynecological diseases, dizziness, and neurasthenia. I previously had to keep heart medicine pills near my pillow, in case a heart problem struck. When my illnesses progressed even mildly, I had to go to the hospital and receive IVs. In the winter I coughed so hard that I couldn't get up at all. I coughed so badly that my internal organs hurt, as if they were cracked open; therefore, sleeping at night was totally impossible for me.

Poverty and disease so filled my life that nothing was going in a positive direction for me. Because of that I easily became irritated and often fought with my husband. I would sometimes start yelling at him early in the morning and not stop until late in the evening. I also got mad at our children, but didn't yell at them the entire time. However, my antagonism toward my husband never ceased. I would grab his ears to wake him up and curse at him, even after he fell asleep in the evenings. Yelling at my husband was like eating three meals, a part of my daily routine. I sometimes even felt that no other woman on earth was as fierce as I was.

All of my illnesses worsened in May 1997. I was bedridden for seven months and could not do anything. My house was so messy and dirty that swarms of flies buzzed around during the heat-congested summer days.

While I was suffering from unbearable miseries, on October 12, 1997, a friend from the same village suggested that I should try Falun Gong. She said that Falun Gong might help me get better. With a hope of curing my illnesses, I began to learn Falun Gong. She told me to go to the practice site regularly, and she gave me a copy of the book Zhuan Falun.

On the first day of reading, I had to lean against the wall to sit up. As I continued reading Zhuan Falun however, I gradually no longer needed the wall for support, and my body also became light. On the third day of reading Zhuan Falun, I took a nap in the afternoon. After I woke up I felt that my entire body was extraordinarily light!

A friend came to my house at 4:00 pm. on the third day and said that I should go to the practice site. I agreed to go with her right away. Once I got there I found that no one despised me, and as a matter of fact, everyone greeted me warmly. When I returned home that day, all of my illnesses were cured! It was an absolutely miracle. I had been sick for over twenty years, and was bedridden for seven months. However, after reading Zhuan Falun for only three days, I was completely healed.

After my illnesses disappeared, my temperament also became better. I started collecting firewood and cooking for my family. My husband commented after I began doing the household chores, “You’re such a fool. How could you have been cured in three days? It’s your illusion that’s playing tricks on you.” I didn't react to his words. From then on I did nothing but study the Fa, practice the exercises, and do household chores. I also stopped using bad words!

Before I practiced Falun Gong, my husband was always the one who got up early to make breakfast for us. After I began practicing I got up and made breakfast for him. Deeply touched by this he said, “Now I can really enjoy life!” Since we were poor I always picked the good food to eat myself and left the food that I didn't like for him. However, after I began practicing Falun Gong, I began giving him the best food. Thus, about twenty days later, my husband said, “I no longer think that it was an illusionary effect. Your Falun Gong Master is very capable. He’s changed your heart and mindset!”

During this period of time my mother also came to see me. She said to me, “You’ve completely changed. You’re not who you were before! Do you know that Falun Gong has installed a new heart in you?” Six months later my husband told me, “Your Master is truly a god!”

My family is still not wealthy, but we now live a happy life. We don't feel mentally tired. I am very grateful for Falun Dafa, and Master, who has purified my body and soul.
