( On December 8, 2010, Ms. Deng Guixian, a Dafa practitioner, passed out fliers containing a brief introduction of Falun Gong while visiting her newborn granddaughter at 404 Hospital. Security guards stopped her and dragged her to the hospital's security office. They splashed her face with cold water and threatened that they'd do it again with boiling water. Later, two police officers handcuffed her and took her to the Factory District police station. The police chief, He Shiwen, angrily slapped her face twice and searched her. He gave her no freedom of movement, and allowed no trips to the restroom without someone being with her. Later, she was released.

On March 18, 2011, the 610 Office police went to her home and harassed her. They interrogated her, saying it was a routine check arranged at the upper level of the CCP.

Previously, Ms. Deng had had health problems that included hepatitis, heart disease, high blood sugar, and hypertension, which caused her to be frequently taken to the hospital, and cost about 1,000 yuan for medicine each year. These problems were all gone after she started practicing Dafa. This elderly lady is grateful to Falun Dafa for giving her a second life. She hoped others would, like her, be able to have a healthy life without sickness, so she had been passing out Falun Gong informational materials to help others.

On May 14, 2010, three or four Chengbei policemen arrested her and dragged her about 30 feet on the ground, hurting her hands and feet and tearing her clothes. They interrogated her for hours and treated her like a convict. At midnight, they ransacked her home and took away her Falun Gong books. Because of her advanced age, her son was able to bail her out and take her home.
