Celebration of World Falun Dafa Day in Pyatigorsk
Falun Gong practitioners in Moscow held a celebration at a park on May 14 and 15. They introduced Falun Dafa and its wide spread around the world, and gave performances to express their gratitude for Falun Dafa. Many people were fascinated and stopped to watch and listen to the beautiful songs and dances.
Dressed in pink fairy lady costumes, female practitioners performed the “White Lotus” dance, symbolizing the beauty and holiness of the practice. With innocent voices and pure hearts, young practitioners recited poems and sang “Falun Dafa Is Great,” which inspired people's respect for Falun Dafa. Following the performance, practitioners demonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong exercises in yellow exercise suits. The audience seemed fascinated by the profound meaning and the simple exercise movements. They copied the exercise movements during the demonstration.
Practitioners held another introduction activity in another park in Moscow the following day.
Practitioners in St. Petersburg celebrated World Falun Dafa Day with a waist-drum performance and group exercises. Many local residents attended the celebration.
