(Clearwisdom.net) Many Falun Dafa practitioners have normal jobs and careers. In the meantime, they also need to participate in various Dafa activities and pay attention to their home lives. At times, it seems that they can hardly manage all of it. When some practitioners are busy with their ordinary jobs, they slack off in doing their Fa-validation work. Once this happens, they find that the effectiveness of their efforts is not as good as when they study the Fa well.
I feel that in our jobs we should work diligently, and then after work we should no longer think about it. Regardless of how well we do our jobs, we are no more than the exemplary workers of ordinary society. Even if we are accomplished in our ordinary work, that is still something of ordinary people. We should not have a mindset of pursuit. We should not get attached to our education, job, or housework. We should study the Fa well with tranquil minds. When our minds are calm and when our thinking is clear, we can easily solve all the issues we face. The reason is that when we study the Fa, our karma is eliminated, we assimilate ourselves to the Fa of the realms we are in, and we can then see the fundamental causes of the issues we are facing. Additionally, those who have studied the Fa are blessed, and no one can harm them. So they can learn well and accomplish their ordinary people’s assignments well.
When we have time, we should study the Fa first. Only in this way can we have the ability to do Dafa work well. Master said,
“Why do you have an ability like this? It’s only because you are a great cultivator. So when you send forth that thought it couldn’t have been sent by anyone but a great cultivator. That is why when some students use this ability, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. That’s where the problem lies.” (“Teaching the Fa at the 2001 Canada Fa Conference” in Guiding the Voyage)
Demons pay attention to our every move. However, they cannot find excuses to persecute Dafa practitioners who are full of righteous thoughts and who have divine powers. To be responsible for Dafa’s image, for sentient beings, for our work environments, for our families, and for our own safety, we Dafa practitioners need to study the Fa well and have strong righteous thoughts. Only in this way can we do even better the work that Dafa practitioners should do.
