(Clearwisdom.net) Nineteen practitioners illegally detained at the No. 3 Detention Center in An’shan City, Liaoning Province miraculously walked out of a detention center on January 27, 2002. The incident shocked the officials. The An’shan City police department then mobilized several thousand police to search the entire city and surrounding counties for the practitioners. They also put out bounties for their arrests.
It has been nine years since the incident, but the scene of practitioners using righteous thoughts to escape danger was as clear as if it had happened yesterday.
Eight female practitioners were detained in a room at the No. 3 Detention Center of An'shan City towards the end of 2001. They sent forth righteous thoughts every hour, recited the Fa and did the exercises. With constant sharing of their understandings on the Fa, everyone’s xinxing improved continuously. They recognized that it was due to one’s own shortcomings and unrighteous thoughts that one was being persecuted, and one should not cooperate with the evil’s demands. At the same time, practitioners have an opportunity to share their miraculous stories of righteous thoughts and actions with others. For example, one practitioner was able to leave a dangerous place after her handcuffs fell off by themselves. These eight practitioners became more firm in their belief in Master and Dafa. They all agreed that, “This is not a place for us to stay, we have many things to do and we must walk out of here with righteous thoughts.” They believed that they had the power to validate the Fa. Before that, a few practitioners had a dream that the metal bars on the window could be pulled apart like noodles, while some felt there were no longer walls at the detention center when they sent righteous thoughts.
Soon after sending righteous thoughts at 6:00 a.m. on Sunday, January 27, 2002, one practitioner noticed that the person who collected the trash forgot to lock the door. She immediately woke everyone up. The practitioners quickly put on their clothes and walked out together. They quietly opened the door, with two practitioners going out first to open the doors of the other two rooms with practitioners inside. They woke them up and everyone walked past the hallway. Someone reminded everyone to send forth righteous thoughts. The guard on duty did not come out after he went inside.
When they got to the ground level, all of the practitioners sent out the thought “freeze” simultaneously when they saw a person mopping the floor at the entrance. As a result, the person stood still holding the mop and watching each practitioner walk past him. At this time, the detention clinic doctor stood up, but just stood still without showing any reaction. When the female practitioners walked out of the building, there were several guards in the courtyard walking around. The practitioners continued to send forth righteous thoughts and walked up to the entrance gate that was shut. They stood in front of the gate with their palms erect, sending righteous thoughts and asking Master to strengthen their righteous thoughts.
At that moment, everything seemed to have frozen in time including everyone in the courtyard. They turned their heads to look at the practitioners, but couldn't move at all. Several minutes passed and the gate was still locked. Still, not a single practitioner wavered and everyone continued to send forth righteous thoughts. Suddenly, several male practitioners came out of the building. One of them had been on a hunger strike for many days and was not able to walk by himself. Fellow practitioners had to help him. At that moment, all the practitioners understood that Master didn't want to leave one practitioner behind and they were one body.
When the male practitioners reached the gate, a miracle occurred--the black metal gate slowly opened by itself. The practitioners rushed out and realized there was another gate a few meters away that was about to close. At that critical moment, everyone hurried to the gate and one female practitioner used her body to block the gate from closing. Every practitioner was able to get out. They ran on the only dirt road that lead to the city. Suddenly a practitioner at the front shouted, “Stop running, there is a car coming!” Everyone then slowed down. They started running again after the car passed them.
Just when everyone was exhausted, three taxies appeared out of nowhere. It was unimaginable that three taxies would show up on this remote dirt road in the early morning. At that moment, the practitioners could hardly describe their feelings. With tears in their eyes, they knew that Master had arranged everything. Several minutes later, all nineteen practitioners disappeared in the noisy city.
