Introductory Remarks
Since they started to practice Falun Gong, practitioners from a village in the Henan countryside have believed in Master and the Fa, and they take the Fa as Master and cultivate diligently. After the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) started to persecute Falun Gong, they kept studying the Fa and cultivating their hearts, they clarified the truth to the public, sent forth righteous thoughts, and helped each other. They have been taking solid steps toward their divine duties of helping Master with Fa-rectification, Fa validation and saving sentient beings. For over ten years, they have covered every nearby village, town and community. They have traveled in all kinds of weather during the day and at night. They often walked 20 to 25 kilometers a day to bring truth-clarifying materials to tens of thousands of families and brought hope to those who have been deceived by fabricated lies. The amazing thing is that, over the past ten years or so, besides the various degrees of abuse and mistreatment they endured while they were in Beijing at the beginning of the persecution, since then, with righteous thoughts, they have been safely walking the divine path of Fa validation and saving sentient beings.
These practitioners have all experienced miracles during their cultivation before and after the persecution began. The following are a few that were compiled to share with fellow practitioners.
Studying the Fa with a Pure Mind; Master Encouraged Me by Allowing Me to Fly
Shortly after starting to practice Falun Gong, Practitioner A went out to watch Master's lecture on video after putting some buns to steam on the stove. As she was watching Master's lecture, she became completely engrossed in Master's words and became free of any selfish thoughts and distractions. Once the lecture was finished, she suddenly remembered her buns were still on the stove and started to run home. She flew up into the air after she started to run, over a foot off the ground! She felt light and relaxed. Practitioner A flew like this for over a hundred meters. She knew Master was trying to encourage her. She became even more diligent in cultivation. Another practitioner also had a similar experience.
An Illiterate Practitioner Read Zhuan Falun; Lights Shone Upon Her
Practitioner B is over 60 years old. She had never been to school and only knew a few written characters such as her name and male and female. After she started to practice Falun Gong, Practitioner B felt that the practice was very good and she wanted to study the Fa, thus she decided to learn how to read. One night, she had a dream that Master gave her a huge book, which was so large that she had to carry it with both hands. Then Practitioner B woke up and she was able to read Zhuan Falun. Each character in the book gave off strange lights, different characters gave off different lights. When she studied the Fa at night, the lines of characters she was reading would shine. Under master's encouragement and her own effort, she was soon able to read Zhuan Falun. Another practitioner who did not know many characters also saw that every character in Zhuan Falun was surrounded by rainbow colors that were extremely beautiful.
A Section of a Finger Crushed; With Dafa's Power, It Grew Back Like New
Practitioner C works in a factory and is responsible for cutting metal planks. The force of the saw she uses is over 60 tons. One day at work, because of long working hours, she carelessly put her thumb in the machinery. As a result, the first section of her thumb was completely cut off. Practitioner C did not feel pain at the time, but she saw blood on the workstation and knew she had had an accident. She then realized that almost half of her thumb including the nail was gone. Her colleagues saw the situation and rushed her to the factory infirmary immediately. A physician at the infirmary saw her thumb and told her to go to a hospital. The factory director's face turned white as he watched. Once Practitioner C got to the hospital, nothing much was done besides some cleaning and the application of antibiotics. Then they put a bandage on her and sent her home.
The factory director intended to compensate her for her injury. Practitioner C refused politely. She said that it was her own fault, that she could not blame the factory, that she was a Falun Gong practitioner who cultivated Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, and that she would not take advantage of the factory. She did not take the money. She kept doing what she did before the accident, studied the Fa and did the exercises as before, and did her household chores as if nothing had happened. The strange thing was that she had never experienced any pain in her thumb and it did not get infected, either; it was just a little inconvenient, but she did not think much about it at all.
After three months, other practitioners asked her about her thumb. Surprisingly, it had grown back, even the nail! They could hardly tell it had been injured. Fellow practitioners all praised Dafa's power and complimented Practitioner C on being able to put down any attachment, which resulted in the miracle.
Believing in Master and the Fa; Use Strong Righteous Thoughts to Deny the Evil Behind Illness
One day, Practitioner D's entire family had a meeting at her home to discuss how they should care for their bedridden elderly parent. Practitioner D gave her input first: She would do whatever was needed if the person stayed with her family. She would even rent an apartment on a lower floor if stairs were a problem. However, her overly dignified attitude provoked her sister-in-laws' ridicule. They felt they were put in a difficult position by Practitioner D's stance. Practitioner D remained calm and did not argue. At this time, her husband, a non-practitioner came in, and she then left the room and went to rest in another room. She heard them arguing and felt that ordinary people are both comical and pitiful. All of a sudden, she felt weak and dizzy and was unable to move her arms or legs. She had no feeling in her body and almost fell down, but she had righteous thoughts in her mind: I am a Dafa practitioner, I am a disciple of Master Li, I cannot fall, I cannot tarnish the image of Dafa and let ordinary people think Falun Gong practitioners have ungenerous hearts. I have to stand tall.
After this one pure thought, she recovered in an instant like nothing had happened. “...the good or the evil comes from the instant thought of a person, and the differences of the thoughts can bring about different consequences.” (Zhuan Falun) Practitioner D used her pure thought to deny the interference from the illness karma and validated the powerfulness of the Fa.
Traveling a Mountain Road to Deliver Dafa Materials and Escaping a Search
Practitioner D and another fellow practitioner decided to go to a tourist spot in a mountainous area. To get there they had to travel rough roads and the trip was very difficult. When they were almost at the top of the mountain, they suddenly saw someone looking around in a rush, as if he was searching for something. The two practitioners knew right away that someone must have reported them. They did not panic. Instead, they sent forth righteous thoughts and walked toward the person, who did not notice them as they walked right past him. They walked past the police post at the bottom of the hill and saw four or five police cars parked there. Many policemen got out of the cars. The two practitioners left safely, the policemen having rushed there for nothing.
Not Panicking When Being Followed; Used Divine Power to Make a Policeman Immobile
Four practitioners from the village went out to put up posters. They went through several villages and were safe. After finish putting up posters at a production group station, they noticed someone following them on a motorcycle. They did not think much of it at first and continued with their work. The practitioners walked two avenues and the motorcycle was still following them. They shared their thoughts quickly and all believed they should use divine power to immobilize him, that they would not let him harm Dafa practitioners. They then sent forth righteous thoughts together: “Immobilize him!” After this thought, when they turned around to look, that person was sitting on the motorcycle motionlessly. The four practitioners went home after they finished posting Dafa materials.
Divine Beings Are Invisible to Human Eyes
A practitioner was putting up Dafa posters at night. As he was leaving one community, he saw two colleagues whom he had been working with for over 20 years walking toward him.. They were less than two meters away from him, and he was about to greet them, when he suddenly realized their faces were expressionless, as if they did not see him. He decided not to say a word and see how they would react. They walked passed him. Under the street lights, he was able to see others, but they could not see him. Was it not the power of invisibility? It is true that Dafa practitioners have many supernatural powers, it all depends on your mind, whether you can use it as you wish.
The Power to Change the Mind of the Fog
One autumn morning, the fog was thick, and visibility was about 20 meters. Cars on the street had to have their headlights on and drive very slowly. A practitioner wanted to send forth righteous thoughts at a detention center in order to save his fellow practitioner. As he was riding his bike, he said to the fog: “Fog god, you are so powerful, why don't you use it against the evil side? Why don't you harmonize with the Fa and choose a good future for yourself?”
After saying that to the fog, the fog quickly cleared, and everything was visible. However, once he arrived at the detention center, he saw a strange site: the detention center was invisible, one could only see a thick layer of fog surrounding the detention center. The area outside the fog-engulfed detention center was clear.
The fog understood—it surrounded the detention center. It is considered manipulating the weather. The practitioner sent forth righteous thoughts for about an hour, and the fog surrounded the detention center for the entire time. It did not clear up until the practitioner was leaving the area.
