(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Tian Xiufen, a Falun Dafa practitioner, is a mother of three. She has been persecuted frequently by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) for following the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. She was arrested on September 7, 2009 by the city police, and was then taken to a forced labor camp. She wasn't released until August 24, 2010. The night after her release, several plainclothes police officers harassed her at home.

The following is Ms. Tian's personal account of persecution at the Shijiazhuang Women's Forced Labor Camp, and additional persecution by police in Huanghua.

At 7:00 p.m. on September 7, 2009, my son and I were about to make dinner when Huanghua Public Security Bureau Vice Squad captain Han Huanhua, officers Liu Caiming and Zhao Lijun, and the Domestic Security Division chief ransacked our home. They confiscated a computer, printer, recorder, cell phone, MP3 player, a copy of the book (Zhuan Falun) and informational materials about Falun Dafa.

I was arrested that evening and detained at the Public Security Bureau, and guarded by four officers. At 10:00 p.m., my brother arrived to request my release, but his request was refused. At midnight, the 610 Office chief came and instructed his aides to monitor me closely. My brother came again at dawn, but his request for my release was again denied. I was taken to the Yanshan Detention Center on the afternoon of September 8, accused of being in possession of Falun Gong materials. I wasn't allowed to see my children until October 2, when officials told me that I would be released on October 7.

As everyone knows, the CCP never keeps its promises. The police took me to Cangzhou on October 19 without notifying my family, where they secretly transferred me to the Shijiazhuang Women's Forced Labor Camp. I was detained there for one year, and finally released on August 24, 2010.

I was held in solitary confinement at the forced labor camp that night. Seven days later, I was transferred to the 3rd Section. On the evening of October 26, camp instructor Lv Yaqin, a Cangzhou woman who also took part in the persecution of practitioners at the Gaoyang Forced Labor Camp, took me to the 3rd Section, where she demanded that I write a repentance statement. I refused, and said, “I am being wronged.” On October 27, Lv Yaqin ordered three former practitioners who had agreed to stop practicing Falun Dafa to try and “transform” me, making me read books that slandered Dafa. I refused, so they forced me to work in their cafeteria.

Later, I was taken to the group headed by guard Niu Li. She pretended to be nice to me at first. After three months, when she realized that I would not write a repentance statement or stop practicing Falun Gong, she started making things difficult for me, for example taking away my right to call my family. She woke me up at 2:00 a.m. and ordered me to fill out some kind of form. I refused, so she beat me.

At the end of 2009, officer Wang Xi persecuted practitioner Yang Runxia in Luquan County. In the winter, she took away Ms. Yang's shoes, forcing her to wear slippers. Niu Li persecuted Zhangjiakou practitioner Chai Wensu with sleep deprivation, and also made former practitioners Wang Shucun and Liu Yingjie beat her. Niu Li also took part in the beatings.
